This restaurant has a new name... SHUKA. The food was excellent. I loved all of the flavours. The service was fast and friendly. I love the semi outdoor patio. If you are in soho I would suggest you drop by here for lunch or dinner.

Diners here might be seated in any of three rooms, each with a different atmosphere.  I think each has its bliss, so it isn’t worth waiting if you don’t have to.  The front room has a bank of windows that open to the street and is particularly nice on warm days. The bright back room is an enclosed patio, where hard surfaces can cause it to get quite loud.

Asheville Foodie. Had dinner here on 11/10/13 with my 16 year old son and this was my second time. The food and service were awesome and the atmosphere was vibrant! You could see that people were really enjoying their food, laughing and having fun! I will be back for sure!

Food that Explodes with Taste. If your looking for a place slightly off the beaten track with AMAZING food - then look no further at Hundred Acres. They take the whole market to table philosophy by serving those foods that are in season at the time. The environment is a mix of farm-chique with beautifully quaint table settings.

I can vouch for the chicken, pancakes, french toast, and scrambled eggs as well as their stuffed pasta - almost every single dish that I've had has been a food explosion of flavors in my mouth :)

Brunch or dinner for two will cost you at least $60+

Delicious, but a few dishes extra salty. Recommended this place from a friend, and was impressed! Decor is very nice as is the impeccable service. Had an entree of the octopus which was delicious, very well tenderized and good flavors.

Wine list is extensive and well priced. I had the Lamb whilst my friend had the beef wagyu, with a side of brussel sprouts. Quality was excellent however my only complaint was that both the lamb dish and the side of brussel sprouts was heavily salted, to the point of of nearly sending it back. Apart from that minor issue, would definitely come back.

Loved it. Great setting in aformer carriagehouse. Excellent food: prices weren't too bad. Can be a bit loud at times.

Fantastic food. I visited this restaurant recently - it was recommended by the hotel where I was staying, and it was really fantastic. The wine and beer list was really impressive, but most importantly I had the best fried chicken I have had in a very long time. Highly recommend.

A little expensive, but not terrible considering the near gourmet quality. Locally sourced ungredients are a good touch, but refusal to serve veggies that ate not in season actually hurts thier menu. I'd go back, but only if my friends requested/suggested to do so.

Why it’s worth it:  This relaxing yet stylish spot serves delicious, fresh and local southern inspired food, not to mention the best cinnamon buns we’ve ever had. Hundred Acres is a great spot for grabbing brunch with family and friends.

Vibe/layout:  This ‘straunt has three rooms: the spacious front dining room boasts large French doors that open to the street; the middle room is filled with over sized photographs expanding the space to feel like a vast farm-house; the back room is a charming garden that makes you feel like you are in your own backyard.

Ideal meal: Gooey cinnamon rolls ($8) to start & soft scrambled eggs ($14)

Had some of the best Mediterranean food here. Very clean presentation, nothing too overly done. The dishes were full of flavours even the kebabs were marinated & bbq’d to perfection. The ambience was quite chill and the servers were very attentive. Definitely coming back on our next NYC trip!

While the flavors here are undeniably fantastic, there's room for improvement in terms of portion sizes. Paying $11 for a small plate of hummus felt a bit disappointing, especially when dining with a group. It might not be the best choice for a larger party looking to share dishes due to the relatively small portions in relation to the cost. However, the quality of service and the charming ambiance truly stood out, making it a worthwhile experience overall. P.S Zattar Fries and Chicken Kebab stole the show, definitely try those out!

Went there last week for brunch, the food is delicious! (Mediterranean) If you like olives, feta cheese and all that Mediterranean flavor this one of the place to go. I got a huge puff bread and two poached eggs in some sauce, olives and cheese i oil with herbs it was yammyyyy !!🤪. The waiter was very friendly, you may seat outside or in. Prices are reasonable. I truly loved what I had and the proof is on the second photo🤣🤣bread doesn’t look big in photo but it is!; sorry I don’t have the name of the dish and was told also that the menu changes. Hope you can visit it when in NYC

Shuka is truly one of my favorite restaurants in the city. The vibe is on point, the service is outstanding every single time I go, and the food comes out hot and full of flavor. Consistency at the highest standards is what sets the best restaurants like Shuka apart from the rest. Brunch and dinner are both incredible…highly recommend!

We went during lunch on a weekday and were able to get a seat without reservation. Food was very good all around. Never had fried halloumi cheese before and it was very tasty in their fattoush salad 😋 the mushrooms in their dishes were grilled nicely and the spices fit well with their dishes. Food feels healthy and not greasy and I feel like I can eat many dishes here without feeling like it's boring or too much of the one thing. Service staff is friendly and can recommend you dishes, and the atmosphere is very nice. They have a room in the back where the wallpaper were all plants and feels like a sunroom since the roof lets in a lot of light.

Great vegetarian options, the falafel and za’atar fries were a knockout! Portion sizes are smaller. Really lovely atmosphere, we sat in the closed heated patio and it felt nice!

We were unable to secure a reservation at Shukette, but fortunately, my husband and I were were very happy to secure one at Shuka. Upon our arrival, the gracious hostess acknowledged our anniversary celebration as she checked us in. We were seated in the main dining area at a perfect, intimate table for two. Having studied the menu beforehand, ordering was a breeze. We started with the tantalizing Tangier cocktails, Turkish cigars, whipped feta with pistachio dip, Muhammara dip with fresh pita. The grilled shrimp kabob, and Za’atar fries for our main course. Our super delightful server, Earl, recommended the one kabob platter for two, and he was spot on. Trust your server—they know just the right amount, leaving room for the next round, dessert! Let me tell you, this is not your typical classic Mediterranean cuisine; this is Mediterranean cuisine elevated to a higher level. As I savored the delightful taste and texture of the whipped feta pistachio, I said to my husband, ‘This is so incredibly F N delicious; I can’t even describe it!’ The food was beyond amazing; it was a feast for the senses. For dessert, we enjoyed Olive cake, Hazelnut and Dates Sundae. The coffee, sorbet, and an after-dinner aperitif—all compliments from Shuka. Charles, the manager, came to our table to wish us a happy anniversary and expressed his joy that we chose Shuka to celebrate. My husband and I extend our heartfelt gratitude to Charles, Earl, and the incredibly amazing staff for a beautiful dinner and a night we will always cherish.

Had a brunch here. Good thing we made a reservation. Make yours if you want to try out this place! From beginning to the end, there was nothing where i thought “this is bleh”. Service was prompt, continuous check up was appreciated and the price is definitely fair. It made me get more whiskey! Definitely give it a shot. If you live in the neighborhood, this should be your stable

This restaurant is an absolute gem, with amazing food, amazing location and amazing service! We had the pleasure to have Dianna as our hostess and she was wonderful. She made some awesome recommendations, she was super friendly and the service was quick. The portion sizes are quite generous so going with a few friends is definitely recommended if you want to try a bunch of different options. Their dips (especially the Muhammara) were sublime and served with freshly baked pitas. The Mezzes all sounded delicious but we settled on the fried Halloumi (which had the most perfect crust and this very tangy sauce to accompany it) and the crispy cauliflower (which were so zesty and crispy and served with a delicious aïoli), both recommended by Dianna and we were not disappointed! We then rounded out the meal with the steak and tuna kebabs, which again, came perfectly seared and each with their own layers of flavors. If you happen to be in the area and want some amazing Mediterranean food, Shuka should be pretty high on your list! On a side note, they also have lunch menus for weekdays and a brunch menu on weekends which we will have to come back and try!

This place is super popular, so making a reservation is recommended. Still had to wait a few minutes for our outdoor table even with a reservation. The food was delicious and flavorful, the Moroccan iced mint tea was refreshing, and the service was attentive. The outdoor seating isn’t very comfortable and the table wobbled a bit. It also gets kind of loud. I would definitely go back here again.
