We arrived early at the train station for our train so we decided to look for a spot to grab a bite to eat. What a gem of a place. We had a wonderful meal and was able to sit and catch our breath after a long day of walking. It was perfect. The restaurant was dimly lit, very romantic and the food was delicious. I highly recommend this spot.

Very classy retro style cafe with friendly service and great food and coffee!
It actually looked closed from the outside but we decided to cross the road for a closer look. So glad we did 👍🙂

Our flight was delayed due to weather, and we happened across night this great place and ate so glad we did! The service was fantastic, the food was amazing and the atmosphere was awesome! If we ever make it back, this will be at the tip of my list to revisit!

Fantastic food we had French toast & Corned beef hash for breakfast. Great service very prompt & polite nice experience.

Great place! Reservations recommended. Had brunch with mimosas. Food was delicious and came out so quickly. Omlettes and corned beef hash were excellent! So big! Corned beef hash had big chunks of corned beef, not that ground up stuff some places serve. Fun Christmas atmosphere.
Only issue was how hot it was inside. To be fair, it was 50+ degrees outside in Dec so unusually warm.

We had only been seated, in our reservation, for 40 minutes or so, when the host came to tell us to move on. It was explained that I did not have an entree...as a vegan, there were few options so I gave up and went with dessert without even a thought that it would be served with both whipped cream and ice cream....only one entree and a dessert with teas on the bill. We were being pushed because of our Spend. Our waiter was attentive. His back up team strong. Food fine. I will not return as it is no longer a hospitality restaurant but instead, a numbers push to the bottom line. And it is very loud.

Service was friendly and warm!! The restaurant was busy but they are efficient and don’t waste time getting people seated. Food was good — the eggs Benedict came overcooked but the server quickly had them remade. The home fries were delicious!

The place is really nice, the food can be better, it’s famous for the pancakes and the French toast. I got the avocado toast, it’s how I benchmark the taste of a restaurant.
I will come back for another try, and I’m sure it’s gonna be better.

The traditional Bar, coffee and restaurant, this place is the best.
I always dreamed of going into this cafe after I watched the movie Friends with Benefits. Is right in front of the Main Entrance of grand central station, easy to find it.

We had made reservations thinking that it was going to be busy, but when we arrived, the place was empty. The service was good, and our server was able to give me a good suggestion for wine to have with my steak. The atmosphere was relaxing and appropriate for a date night with my husband.
