Large selection of breakfast/lunch menus. This used to be my go-to place for quick breakfast takeout in the Kips Bay Area. My favorite was their dumpling soup which comes out in a huge bowl with a side of rice. Dumplings were okay but I liked how they put a good amount of veggies in the soup (carrots and zucchinis) along with some beef.

I first found Bread and Butter on a business trip about a year ago. I loved it so much we went out of our way to take the subway there to eat twice on my recent vacation. Amazing variety of both hot and cold food to choose from. Something for everyone in your group. Choose your favorites and have a seat in the upper level.

Such a great eatery and mini grocery to grab what you need and go. If you have a little more time, you can throw in a custom order at the grill. Amazing selection at the buffet; everything is so fresh and rotated often. My daughter and I loved it. The employees were so helpful and recommended some great choices. Definitely a must stop if you’re in the neighborhood.

Since I'm only in the neighborhood once a week and have many options for breakfast, I always visit Bread and Butter. I find the value excellent, the taste amazing and the employees great! I'm welcomed each time I walk in and my order is always remembered. When I order something new, they tell me about it and I have not been disappointed! While eating my meal, I watch the interaction with the other customers and know that this is the way the employees are with allthat walk through their doors. A great place!

I really like this place. I just moved into the neighborhood for work and I come here almost daily. They have a lot of breakfast and lunch options, the staff is very friendly, it is always spotlessly clean and the food is excellent. My only issue is that they use Styrofoam and plastic containers for the buffet which is very bad for the environment. Otherwise it’s a great place for snacks, breakfast and lunch.

Its's like a mini food court. They have so many choices such as pizza, salad bar, steamed table, Mexican and Japanese inspired menu. Prices are $$. Nice inexpensive restaurant considering where it is located. Enough space for group hangout or afterwork lunch break. I heard there's a discount after 4 or 5pm. If you think about... Where does all that food go at the end of the day?
