Landmark restaurant between Upper East Side and Mid Town. Great burgers, fried chicken, fish, shellfish and salads.Has an old fashion bar.

This is in my opinion one of the top five spots in NYC for a classic burger. The oysters were great and the spicy wings were excellent.

A great friend recommended this place - and as a single traveller, I couldn't have been happier with the recommendation. The burger was superb (seems that if you want your burger rare, that's how it'll come!) Loved the atmosphere, not just the food.

Very nice historic place . Burger was solid and unique . Fries were not salty, very enjoyable. Would be happy to try more burgers . Dessert really hit the spot . Brownie Sunday all the way . Only negative it was quite cold inside .

PJ’s is a cross between an English pub and an American diner. Red and white tablecloths meet the dark, tight and pokey feel of a pub. The food is very solid but it’s not quite as good as I was expecting. I had the Trio of Burgers so I could try all that was on offer. The Classic Burger & Cadillac Burgers were quite bland. The best was the Blue Cheese & Onion Burger. I think it was the lack of flavour in the patty that brought it down. I also had the lobster roll which was perfectly good but nothing too special. The best dish of the day was PJs Cheesecake. Great size for the price and although I like a little more biscuit to cheese ratio it was still really light and creamy. I was disappointed by PJs because for the price you expect it be perfect.

Excellent appetizers, bartender was top notch in the atmosphere from being in 150-year-old. 150-year-old bar was amazing. A must see!

Nice and characteristic place with a good twist on seafood and burgers. The local is too dark to make you comfortable (it is even difficult to read the menu) and the personal could be more sympathetic, but ok, it's New York.

The establishment is easy to find, big, and welcoming. The atmosphere is great, it is loud inside though. The service is great and really attentive if you need anything. We went for lunch and the food was lovely and a lot for the price. The food came all at once as well for being a busy time. Overall I would come back. 10/10 would recommend.

I can't explain how much fun I had today in this place. an atmosphere that I rarely felt. Fortunately, I sat at the bar and was personally attended by the bartender and the manager Mazin. Because i trowed my coctail to the floor, i started to have a conversation with them, and i have never felt so honored. The hamburger is the best classic American type I've tried, and the cheesecake it has is an elixir. I will return without a doubt, and I will recommend to everyone. One of the best surprises that I take from New York.
