Bareburger - The Village

This was not on my list for burgers whilst in New York, however we stopped in here due to being quite hungry and it being close. I had the Bison burger with blue cheese and a cola. I was not expecting much, however the flavours of this burger were delicious. And the blue cheese was fresh and bursting with flavour. New York City is full of burger options and if you like a burger and are in the area this is worth a crack. Cleanliness: Seemed very clean Freshness: Food seemed incredibly fresh Staff: Friendly Service: Prompt Price: Reasonably priced Wait time: Seated immediately Restrooms: Yes Would I go back: No. so many other options in New York I’d try another burger joint. Would I recommend: Yes. Give it a go. Downside is they did not have any Coca Cola, Pepsi or any good drinks, only organic. If they had soft drinks like Coke etc they would be kicking goals.

Really great “burger” place! I had an elk burger with bacon, pepper, jack, cheese, and a secret sauce. My wife did the grilled chicken with a secret sauce that was good. We had the onion rings, which were probably the best I’ve ever had and the fried pickles were good. To top it off the salted caramel milkshakes were perfect. Service was great. Really clean place with great music.

This place was a great find. We built our own burger- the bread had the perfect texture, the meat perfectly seasoned and juicy, sauces were delicious. Service was extremely kind and helpful. Portions were generous. My only comment would be perhaps doing a single thicker patty instead of two thin patties. Maybe you could order that, but by default we got two thin patties.

They have a great selection of comfort high quality fast foods & plenty Vegan or Vegetarian options as well as some other, having said that I don’t go to them as often now cause I don’t like their new burger only standard which they changed from a thicker style almost steak like burger to thinner pattie styles and with over medium in doneness tasted more on dry side. I wasn’t impressed I miss their old style was delicious 😋! I think they should offer at least a couple on the menu in the old style too if they did that I’d change to 5 star
