Eleven Madison Park

We had the 6-course dinner and the food alone, especially if you are familiar with Asian/Japanese cuisine, is not impressive. However, everything else was exceptional. It was more of a fun theatrical experience for me, great entertainment, so to speak. I loved the vibe, so relaxed and cozy yet classy.

Amazing place to celebrate any occasion! If you tell them what you’re celebrating they will be sure to make you feel special. The atmosphere is beautiful and clean. The staff are very attentive. All cocktails are wonderfully crafted and I can’t complain about this place. It was rated as the best restaurant in the world - it makes sense. Thank you!

Very delicious and wonderful experience! I went a while back with my fiancé so the menu may be different. I loved the fairy eggplant, capers, rice, and sunflower courses. 11 Madison offered a very unique culinary experience, especially as it is a dedicated vegan michelin restaurant and the dishes are not just "substitutions" as you would typically get at other michelin starred restaurants. As such the quality and freshness of the ingredients as well as the preparation is exceptional.

I went several times pre-pandemic when they were not plant-focused and it was by far my best 3 Michelin star experience, worth every dollar. Now we walked in for drinks at their bar area and also ordered 2 dishes to share (cabbage and shiitake risotto). Cabbage was so so, Mushroom risotto was heavenly and super inventive with lemon caviar which you add on top and adds another dimension to this already delicious dish. The cocktails were good but not exceptional. We paid more than expected because prices by dish were not listed ($140 each+tip) but we knew where we were, so no regrets. Also a breakfast to go was a nice surprise. The service was the best part, approachable, professional and friendly, making us feel like a center of attention. The area is very nice with several tables and bar seats, "fenced" from the main dining area. Reservations not accepted. We came at 6pm on Monday and there were several empty seats and tables but gor busy after 7.30

Every aspect of service and food exceeded our very high expectations. The decor is elegant while being minimalist. But the acoustics made it easy to converse normally which is very important. We were exceptionally fortunate to dine on the 25th anniversary day when they received word of their renewal of three Michelin stars!

Exceptional service. Favorite dishes were the truffle tortellini with chestnuts, smoked rutabaga, apple donut. Extreme attention to detail about food preferences and restrictions, in some cases with minutes of notice. Even though I wasn't a fan of every dish, the flavors ranged from very good to sublime. Would return and highly recommend.

The all vegan 3* is a must to see, eat and taste in the city. The complex dishes do not need anything spectacular around, they are mostly quiet, but the sensations explode once in your mouth in a very delicate way. We recommend to try a cocktail from the changing bar creations as a starter. The wine selection is gigantic and it helps to look at it before you are there…, otherwise you will be probably just overwhelmed. We usually do not do the wine pairing and went for a very nice California Merlot from 2015 that was perfect. The espresso at the end was the only thing we would want to improve… The service is super smooth, not creating any disturbing and the setting is very relaxing.

My partner and I dined at Eleven Madison Park to celebrate a milestone birthday. It was one of the best meals I have ever eaten. The menu is plant based. We are not vegetarian or vegan, but don’t eat red meat. This menus was perfect because we didn’t need to make any special requests. We knew we could eat and enjoy whatever came our way. Each dish took the featured vegetable to another level. I was in awe of the tomato drink that looked like water yet had so much flavor- like tomato to the hundredth power. I don’t know what magic they worked to make vegan sunflower seed butter taste like the most luscious dairy butter. There are master alchemists working in the kitchen. I also liked that tofu/tempeh/seitan wasn’t served. None of the dishes were trying to resemble or taste like meat. We felt completely satisfied by the quantity of food- we didn’t feel bloated or unsatisfied. We appreciated that they sent us home with yummy granola and the server even threw in plant based doggie treats. Which our dogs devoured. So there you go- you don’t have to be vegan to enjoy Eleven Madison Park. However if you are a die hard carnivore and not a fan of vegetables than this is not for you.
