Food was amazing. Waiters were attentive to the point I was careful not to frown even as a joke because they would be over to you in a heart beat making sure everything was fine. Even the owner come over!! Impressive. This is real italian food from what appears to be real Italians, . I personally promise you cannot be disappointed that is of course if you are a true lover of Italian food. Why do I know you will be satisfied because I am 100% italian and know italian food very well....Go there !!
If you are in the Columbus Circle area, you must try this Italian restaurant. Everything is freshly prepared with finesse. We have been here three times, so far, and have tried most of the homemade pastas. The gnocchi is light, with a very nice parmesan cream sauce. I tried my son's veal ravioli with a wild mushroom sauce, which was hearty and very tasty. My shrimp and artichoke ravioli in a chunky tomato sauce, was outstanding. My husband had the homemade papardelle with bolognese, which I have had before and loved. The appetizers didn't disappoint, a stuffed fresh mozzarella with speck and sundried tomato, and also a tuna tartare.
I recently dined at Masseria dei Vini, an Italian restaurant. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the staff was incredibly attentive. I started with their classic salad, which was fresh and bursting with flavor. For the main course, I ordered veal parmigiana. It was heavenly, with layers of perfectly cooked veal, rich sauce, and melted cheese. To top it all off, I indulged in a slice of their apple cake with vanilla ice cream, and it was the perfect end to a fantastic meal. This restaurant also offers delicious pizza and it will be my must-try next time.
Fine dining with vegan options. While the dining room was quite busy it was still comfortable and inviting. Polite and knowledgeable staff were able to recommend excellent vegan options and they even had a vegan dessert option! They knew which dishes were most likely to be cross contaminated.
I stopped by for a quick bite around six. There were plenty of open seats at the bar at this time. There were a few diners in the restaurant. Service was good, attentive, and professional. Food was good and it came out in a timely manner. I look forward to coming back again.
We came for dinner on Saturday night and was recommended by our hotel since it’s so close. What a great spot. Definitely not a touristy spot, seemed more like locals dining. We came with two kids and it wasn’t an issue. Service was excellent and the food was phenomenal. My kids loved the fried zucchini sticks. This and the fritto misto are perfectly battered. The vongole pasta was incredibly flavourful. So good. The bolognese was also delicious. For secondi we shared the pork chop which had truffle flavours. And the branzino was delicious too. We will definitely come back when we are in town.
Enjoyed the food, typical of any white table cloth Italian restaurant. Wait staff was good - deducted points for the maitre d. their level of arrogance was off the charts. No smile. No humor. Bring all the tables with only women to the back of the restaurant. These two men are snobs and don’t belong in this business.
I won’t go back - too many other options in Manhattan with out this class nonsense. They act as if they are from Florence and everyone else is from Bari. (Those who know, know.)
We had an excellent dinner! Every dish was outstanding. Specifically, the veal tortellini with mushroom sauce was very good. We were a group of 7 with 3 kids. The kids found plenty to eat and the staff were very friendly. This is definitely a place we would go back to.
Excellent ossobuco and risotto. The service was great. Lentils and bread were delicious. Solid Long Island ice too as well!
An excellent Italian restaurant. We keep coming back at least once a year. Excellent service and excellent food.
The pizza was excellent. Several pasta dishes were excellent as well. The deserts were amazing. Nice selection of wine and alcohol.
My daughter is vegan as she had nice vegan options as well including and amazing sorbet with fresh fruit.
Highly recommended!
Classic old school somewhat upscale Italian dining. The ambiance is top notch, so is the service and delicious food. We had seafood cavatelli and it was insanely good!
This is an authentic Italian restaurant— heavy on wine and only Italian beers. I wanted this to be a 5-star experience, but the food came up a touch short. It was good, but I’ve had better pasta on many occasions— good not great. The service was first class, very regular visits to the table to refill water and check on needs. Would absolutely go again.
