Taim is by far my favourite food joint in NYC. Their falafel has consistently been of the highest quality. The two options they offer are green and harissa falafel which are both delicious. Service is very quick and staff is pretty friendly.

Very small place, 5 people behind the counter, 3 high chairs facing out and a bench out doors.
The air conditioner leaks on you when you walk in or out but the vegetarian food is worth it.
The servers are nice and friendly and the falafel is fresh as well as the pita and condiments.
I highly recommend it!
A great place for vegetarian Mediterranean fare, it's a small eatery mainly for takeaways. We ordered a Greek salad, falafel salad, fries with saffron aioli and honey ginger lemonade. Huge portions, the harrisa balls were delicious and so was the lemonade.
My green felafel sandwich with added babbaganoush really hit the spot. I was visiting from Melbourne and after some really wonderful but indulgent meals in New York, I was craving something nutritious and simple. Taim delivered. The felafel itself was crunchy outside and soft and herby inside and surrounded by smooth hummus, crunchy Israeli salad and soft pita. The only reason I'm not giving it a 5/5 is because Las Du Felafel in Paris has to be number one.
Good match on options, taste, quantity & prices. Tried their Falafel platter - not overwhelmed but happy. The cashier lady wasn't very clear explaining the stuff (not that she was impolite or anything) so I had to go back in the line to take a moment to figure it out myself. Had a good dinner otherwise.

I lived in Isreal 35 years ago and visited many times since and I'm a big fan of Israeli food. Taim is hands down the best I have had in the states and can compete with any falafel shop in Isreal. Rude cashier but it must be a tough job as the place is packed. Inexpensive, fast and top notch ingredients, Going back again today before I fly back home to LA
Definitely the best falafel I've had! I had the green falafel and just when I thought I had eaten the best part of the filling and was left with just the salad, there were more falafel balls!
"Tasty". This would make a a falafel lover out of anyone. Delicious spices, moist inside, crisp outside and not greasy. Great fillings to choose from after you pick which of the 3 falafel flavors you want. Truly great fries with aioli help put this meal over the edge. Beverage choices are lovely, too.
Delicious, light falafel. I got the falafel platter, expecting it to be way too big/heavy to finish in one sitting. For better or for worse, it turned out to be too delicious to resist, though I was left surprisingly happy (without the normal cheap falafel oily sheen that I normally get post-hummus/chickpea indulgence).
Falafel was fresh and very tasty even towards closing time. Lots of options for sides and sauces. Restaurant has a kosher certificate for everything but the two dairy items on the menu.
This place is really more of a takeout place but as always a great place to get vegetarian cuisine. While it maybe easy to miss this place it's in close proximity from the corner of 7th Avenue South & Perry Street.

For the price, quantity and quality, this restaurant chain serving falafel bowls with many toppings is worth it especially if you have an appetite and love veggie options.
Best falafel outside Israel ! Visiting Manhattan from Texas (Israeli family) and have had this place on my list for a while. Finally stopped in today for a falafel pita sandwich. Downloaded the app and got amazing FREE Hummus & Zatar Pita.
Get the Mint Ginger Lemonade, you’ll thank them after !
Been going here for years. I was skeptical about the menu change, because I loved the simplicity of the place. However, the new bowls are truly a delight. I’ve yet to try the other protein options, but I love all of the new add-on’s that come with the bowl. The whipped garlic sauce is absolute necessity. Taim remains a favorite of mine.
Great spot to experience delicious Mediterranean food. Excellent portions both with a bowl and a pita sandwich. I keep coming back and it tastes better everytime.

Excellent place, very personal service and I spoke to a person there Jennifer who is kind with her time and explain to me a lot of the elements of the place. This is my second time here in two days and I definitely recommend learning how to order because there are probably some right ways to do it and some wrong ways to do it so I think there's a learning curve and there are different things that you might or might not like so I think the next time I will be better off in terms of choosing something that will be perfect. This is a great place and you get a lot of food and there's a lot of options to choose from, and the app works very well. It's a very good situation. I think some tutorials would help because it's a lot to process but this is a great place and I definitely will be coming back. I created a new spot here called pita corner so that's what this is it's a magical spot, so enjoy.

YES I thought it was really good and it's an excellent system. That being said, I was a little upset as a first-time visitor how difficult it is to process something that could be more simply explained. There's an offer as well for $5 discount if you sign up for the app which will make it easier for you to order. The display is clear but the numbers confuse the fact that you get a free options of your choice from the list as well as have the option for paying additionally for a different set. I thought it was delicious and I loved what they offer. It's a cute little store and basically a little bit challenging to find because it's tucked away nicely. One thing that stood out is the fact that they offer water. That is rare. I was tired at the time and it was difficult to figure out the system and I spoke to someone there and he understood how I thought the sign could be improved. It's not the role of someone working there to listen to every little thought of another person but I am a top reviewer and I elevate local businesses so I was impressed with the responsiveness of the people there to listen to my thoughts. I thought the falafel was great and I loved all the toppings it's just really sensational amidst lots of unhealthy choices one could have gotten nearby by not going there. So I will definitely be going back and signing up for the app and I really think this is a place to consider as well as several other people told me it's great. I definitely think they have something here and I think with a few simple refinements it can really be a very strong offering and it basically already is. I think that many places are reticent to offer water so I definitely think this is a pretty strong recommend if not basically a strong recommend. I will update this review the next time I go. Love their Jasmine rice. There’s just something about it. My order typically has a lot of toppings and I ask for extra! Its possible that when you ask for a lot that the staff forgets an ingredient. So make sure to doublecheck your bowl before you leave if you plan on ordering a lot!
Ordered a Chicken Shawarma and Falafel bowl, and it was delicious! Everything tasted fresh, and it was delivered on time.
