Ocean Prime

My initial review based on my communication with the group dining office would have been a ZERO. However, the restaurant itself was amazing. I tried to get a private room for our company holiday dinner thru their private dining email and had a less than happy experience with someone there. When making my reservation on OpenTable, I added a special request asking if the Rockefeller were available then we would love to have it. when we arrived, it was, and they placed us in there with no additional fees or minimums. Victor our waiter was AMAZING, the drinks and appetizers were fantastic, the desert was delicious. (special shout out to the deviled eggs and crab cake) our only problem was that the entree portions were a little small. The sea bass and salmon were really small pieces for the price, although delicious. the Tomahawk Steak was SURPRISINGLY small, despite being advertised at 36oz. i seriously doubt that it was, and for $170? there were about 9 small slices of steak. I was very disappointed in that. we will be back...but wont order the Tomahawk.

The food was great! The fishy was flaky and the sides were delicious. The reason for one star removed was the wait staff when the bill came. He came with the card reader to take my payment and continued to hover over me as I am paying- Like my shoulder was centimeters from his body. In any situation, being that close to a stranger is super uncomfortable. I understand tipping is important and I will always tip atleast 20% unless it’s horrible service. But that just makes customers feel so uncomfortable. If you are going to bring the card reader, the wait staff needs to step aside while the customers pays or it just feels like a peer-pressure tactic.

Phenomenal service above and beyond what I expected for a restaurant of this class. The Berries and Bubbles are a must try. I love that they offered popcorn as a gluten-free alternative to a bread basket. I had sushi as an appetizer, which was everything I was hoping for. Their entrees were expertly cooked as well, I can't wait to try more of their menu. Their "outdoor" dining area is fully enclosed, protected from the wind, equipped with space heaters, and is well decorated.

Very impressive. Great service, delicious desert and cute atmosphere. I would definitely come back here. We were greeted with all smiles and the presentation was top tier. I genuinely have no complaints. I was satisfied and pleased with everything. The deserts were the highlight. We tried all of them and my body was dancing from the inside out. Thank you for such a great time!

My partner and I are both in the restaurant industry so sometimes it’s hard for us to find a restaurant we enjoy through and through. OCEAN PRIME is one of THESE restaurants. From the Dragon Roll, Steak Tartare, Scallops, Steak & DONT forget the butter cake. We have been multiple times and never are we disappointed. ALYSSA is a five start server from personality, knowledge & speed SHE is who you want to sit with for a perfect experience! Can’t wait to go back asap!!! Thanks ocean prime for giving us a neighborhood restaurant we call home.

My husband and I have been to this restaurant multiple times in the past. Everything is great and we intend to return. I just subtracted one star in service because we asked to have our Ribeye to be boxed and they completely forgot. I still recommend this restaurant to others but next time I will definitely insist on bringing my leftover despite the fact that it's a bit embarrassing to be in a business meeting and having to remind them about our request.
