I'm staying with friends, so am not a regular here, but did grow up in Manhattan on a healthy diet of everything bagels and cream cheese. Came in to pick up bagels for the family- 2 everything, 2 plain, 2 cinnamon raisin. I got home to discover that I didn't get everything's and got sesame instead. A definite downgrade, but I could still assess the bagels. They are big and don't look like they'd be very good, but at 7am they are still warm from the oven and the dough has an outstanding chew. It's good enough that you can really enjoy the bagel without any cream cheese. I also picked up a container of lox spread and green onion spread. The lox spread doesn't taste super fresh, but the green onion one really pops. All in all happy with the purchases and will definitely be back. A good option if the line at Absolute Bagel is nuts.

Good place to grab a Bagel in the way to Central Park. Place is very crowded, which is mostly a good sign. Ordering is a little bit chaotic and not well organised. Unfortunately no place to eat or to sit down. Bagel are delicious, but the price is also very high. Definitely worth to visit.

The only reason there is no line is because the staff are crazy efficient. I'm not sure why everyone is obsessed with Absolute. Broadway bagel is just as good without the wait!

Super busy but fast service. They forgot to give me my brownies (but I should have checked before I left). Bagels are big and lots of combinations and I suspect you can get any combination but the menu isn’t 100% clear.

The bagel I got was amazing and price was very fair but I have to give 4 stars with the cashier woman having an attitude because I wasn't told my number and I took a little long to figure out she meant me. As a heads up to any future customers the numbers they call are the last ones on the ticket they give you but they didn't tell me that beforehand. Plus I overheard the cooks referring to me as a "gringo" not realizing I was hispanic. But at least the service was fast.

Delicious, fast and affordable Bagel shop! Honestly I don't wanna compare Upper West Side with the Downtown prices but they are giving you the best prices for a sausage & egg with filled cream cheese bagel sandwich! It's quite hard to find somewhere this nice, this delicious and cheap these days... Huge applause to friendly, cutest staff ever. Can't wait to come back here someday.

Stopped in for breakfast for the first time before a morning walk to Central Park and onto the Met. The place was busy ( a good sign!) and the service brisk and friendly. Hubby got the nova lox with scallion cream cheese, capers, onion and tomatoes on an everything bagel as other reviewers suggested and it was amazing! The rest of us had very tasty everything bagel egg sandwiches which were also excellent. We had read about the unique French toast bagel and even though our portions were large, had one to share and it was just enough maple-y sweetness and not overwhelming sweet at all. I hoped to get back before our trip ended to try one toasted with butter and sweetened cream cheese —I think that would be fantastic! Time didn’t allow us to return but next visit will do for sure. Even just the regular coffee was well brewed and perfect boldness. We met the owner too, impressed with his diligent management of the place and had a very welcoming and friendly conversation—his care and attention to everything is impressive. Overall great food and service and a well cared for establishment.

Phenomenal bagels and quick service (I’m astonished by the assembly and delivery system they have!) it’s near Central Park so I would recommend grabbing a bagel and some coffee and walking over to Central Park to grub. Great location and amazing food!

Bagels are huge with good chew. Had an everything bagel scooped and toasted with low fat scallion cream cheese. Wish the everything topping was heavier and on both sides instead of just the top. Star is the cream cheese. My boyfriend has the lox scallion cream cheese which was fantastic. Other then that not a huge cream cheese variety but the taste and texture are top notch. Wouldn’t travel for this one, but if I’m in the neighborhood would stop here.

Like a well oiled machine. Quick in and out. Bagels are huge and a decent amount of cream cheese. $3.95
