Food was good. Grabbed a seat without a wait. Staff were all nice. You have to walk up and order/pay at the counter in the rear of the restaurant, before being seated, which is a bit strange to me. If you've never been there, it's hard to make a decision on what to eat that quickly. I need time to look over the menu. Lol. We went ahead and got seated, then someone went to the back to order for us. Also, your table doesn't really have a server, or we didn't that night. You just kind of get up and take your drink to the back for a refill or get the bartender's attention. Just different from a normal sit down style restaurant, not really an issue. We enjoyed our meal and the atmosphere. Fish batter has some heat. I like spicy, so wasn't an issue for me. Husband liked the crawfish.
I am a TN native who had to get the Louisiana experience, I popped in to Hot Tails. Lemme tell you this place is off the chain! The scenery is glorious, and it feels like home honestly. I got the Crawfish burger cooked to perfection so damn good!, and the Red beans were to die for! I highly recommend beyond measure! The staff are absolutely on point, I can't wait to get back!
Best food I had in a minute, good flavor, good spice, and nice and juicy!!! Definitely get your money's worth!!
Pictures don't do this place justice
pretty good! Casual dining, order at the front so you kinda have to order quickly. The only disappointment was that there’s a bar but no drink menu? No frozen margaritas.
Food was full of flavor and came out hot and quick for a Saturday Night. Hope this place stays open and does good!
Had oyster box. Loads of plump and perfectly cooked oysters that I couldn't eat all. Staff lovely. Only minor thing was it took about 45 min after we ordered before the food came. But, it did come hot and fresh.
We had lunch at Hot Tails in Prairieville today. The staff was amazing and accommodating. A huge shout out to Chasity at the bar and Taylor for her friendly welcome for our first time visit! Our appetizer (fried okra) was superb and beyond our expectations. The shrimp PoBoy was a our main course and also the best we’ve had in this area in a long time! We were pleased with the seasonings in everything and it didn’t come across as over “spiced”. We thoroughly enjoyed the ice cold beer and cold mugs! We will be back with friends!
First time eating here. Nice hostess. Crawfish was very good and reasonably priced but everything else was very high priced for the portion size. We had the chicken balsamic wrap with onion rings for $16 and the Geaux two platter for $23. Good spot for crawfish though!!
Very south Louisiana cuisine. It is spicy but if you grow up with that then you are at home. They do have grilled options and steamed vegetables, so healthier options as well.
