I am from Michigan and this was some of the best food I have had since coming to New Orleans! Thank you for the great food and the great hospitality while waiting on our food!

Stopped in here to eat and left very satisfied. Hot, fresh, flavorful, and great customer service! We recommend the catfish, greens, yams, and jambalaya. Thank you ladies!

We lived everything especially the smothered pork chops and candied yams.
Was very pleased with the portions i got and the taste was out of this world, will definitely come back again.
Tried to call in order and a guy hung up on me, I called back and was placed on hold so long my husband just went up there and I hung up after he reached restaurant. The fried chicken was seasoned great and do yourself a favor and get double yams. Please pass on the spaghetti and cheese aka Mac and cheese ( I guess they said it’s a pasta) but it’s flavorless and lacking in cheese. Check your order before you leave my husband found out the hard way. I asked for extra yams they gave me a plate of extra pasta and sauce aka Mac and cheese. My husband did love the smothered turkey necks.
We were on a family trip to Alabama for the holidays. Stopped in and enjoyed every thing from the smothered pork chops to chicken wings to the YAMs and collard greens very flavorful and tasteful we glad we stopped in.
Chicken was a little salty, then I like it. Overall food was" GOOD. "The only thing I would suggest is greet your unknown customers. Nothing is wrong with a smile and a warm welcome 🙏🏾
I had the Neckbone and collards! It was amazing. Just like back home in Savannah! Real soul food is getting harder and harder to find.
I'm going to tell you right now I love the food the yams macaroni and potato salad freaking delicious I love the fried and stewed chicken being right around the corner from my place of business very convenient call in the order most of the time it's waiting for me when I get there but if it's not no more than a couple of minutes and it's hot to the point where I have to let it cool off to eat it I'm in there a couple of times a week and the young man that works there knows me by name and very respectful I really recommend this place.
I ordered the catfish plate sides were candy yams and mac and cheese w/roll. The catfish was crispy, yams sweetness was just right, mac and cheese was good. This plate filled me right up for lunch. I'll definitely come again.
Food is delicious. Sometimes the workers aren’t as pleasant maybe they’re tired. I forgot a drink from an online order No one called to tell me they forgot to give it to me. So I lost that money. Other than that the food is always good.
