The one word that comes to mind for me to describe this place is “sensational.” The warm welcoming atmosphere and the quality of food is unmatched!! Don’t forget to pair your food with a delicious margarita! Also the prices are very fair!

Finally a great restaurant at this location! All the food I’ve tried here over the last few months has been delicious. The carnitas tacos are a must try! The queso is so well spiced. Pairs perfectly with their margaritas. One of my favorite spots Uptown

The best spot for Taco Tuesday in New Orleans. They have $2 tacos and $4 small margaritas on Tuesdays. On Tuesday’s there is usually a lot of Tulane students and a line but it moves pretty fast. The food is delicious and there is plenty of seating ( they also have a balcony). I ordered 3 chicken tacos and my friend got a steak quesadilla with margaritas of course. We definitely enjoyed. I would highly recommend checking El Taco Loco out.
Amazing food made fresh, great staff and they even serve shots of Clase Azul tequila if you ever wanted to try it. I had their Chimi Changa and I will definitely be going back. Thanx for everything.
Style of Felipe's where you can add what you like, but run by actual Mexicans with real spice in their salsa. Beautiful balcony. Friendly staff. Fast service. We enjoyed it!
I love love love this place. Last year I made an effort to try a new taco place every Tuesday and out of 15 places I tried this place remains my favorite. I've spent so much time in Mexico and these ring as the most authentic, and the margs! Boy those margs will have you calling your ex at 6pm on a Tuesday. You have to come here. This is a solid taco joint. It isn’t super fast service but also is not bad service. You will wait a few minutes but they will serve you large portions and it is very affordable. Large selection of meats (no chichiron or lengua) but birria cabeza barbacoa carnitas asada and ground beef along with chicken are all very good several choices for beans. All sauces are handmade. I have dined here many times as it is only a few blocks from my house. I have never had a bad food experience here. The margaritas are super strong so don’t expect to have a couple and a drive or ride a bike anywhere soon after. It is located right on the street car line at the corner of Oak and Carrolton . I have only the one picture sitting outside on the front patio, I was always too busy eating to take pictures and nobody wants to see a picture of empty plates.
The best Tacos I've ever had. So glad I found this as all other NOLA Mexican food has been baaaad(as someone who lived in Texas). The tacos were only $6 for three and the shell alone is worth it, it is warm soft and melts in your mouth. Everything is incredibly fresh and overwhelmingly delicious!!
I'm not big on Mexican food but I enjoyed this place. Their al pastor and queso are top notch. The place is always clean and hasn't been busy when I have come through.
My favorite taco spot in the whole city. That queso is magic and their margaritas hit the spot. Wonderful variety of meats and friendly staff. I seriously dream about this place. It’s that good!
