Great place to just hang out and relax after a long day. Their burgers are very good and they have very good seasoned waffle fries. The fried pickles are good as well. They have pool tables and lots of sports playing as well. Good music and the vibe is good. You can sit inside and out. Great area as well.

We had a great experience here today. We came here to grab some food while we were in the area and absolutely loved the quality of the food and the service was good too. I really liked the ambiance and it wasn't too crowded which was a plus. I got 10 Honey BBQ Wings with ranch and the onion rings. Both were awesome, especially the wings because they were huge and really juicy. Nothing I hate more than small wings with little to no meat. I also had a Stella Artois which hit the spot. I would definitely recommend this place if you are in the area.

Great local bar! Steven the bartender is excellent at his job, food and drinks were quick and we enjoyed the outdoor patio. Get the debris fries and grab a table inside or outside to watch the Game.

Bruno's is a great place to come watch a game or enjoy a drink and some food with friends. Their bar food is as good as it gets -- nothing on the menu dissapoints. Don't miss their wings, waffle fries or fried pickles. Get there early for any Louisiana sporting event.

Excellent service, the bartender was amazing. You can tell that he loves his job and makes every customer happy. Had onion rings and a roast beef poboy with fries that were soooo gooood. Great place to go in Uptown after a night in the city. BTW the kitchen was open when all the others were closed.

Good drinks and clean restrooms. Adam, the bartender, was attentive and served us drinks promptly. The men’s restroom was clean along with the toilet seats (rare for a NOLA bar). Overall highly recommend this establishment.

Awesome place to watch a game or have some drinks! Food is great too!

Four stars / more like 3.5 stars because the food can be inconsistent and overly greasy. But overall, pretty great bar food. I always have a good time here and the drinks are well made.

In from Houston, I came by to watch the World Series and loved atmosphere and best of all the music was awesome! When I come back to visit I will definitely come back here.

Stopped in on a Friday as they opened. Bartender was very friendly and he went out of his way to find what we wanted. Red beans and rice were delicious and well presented! Shrimp po boy was just as good. Nice little uptown, non tourist spot!

Atmosphere was cool. The weekend happy hour couldn't be beat. Buckets for less than $13?! Yes please! No shortage of TVs and streaming games and the bar food was good too! Fried Mac & cheese and fried pickles did not disappoint.

Definitely a great laid back hang out place. Awesome all day happy hour on Mondays!

Great college bar. We have been coming here when in town for over 35 years. We always stop in for a beer or 4

Neat place. Waffle fries are amazing. Food had good flavour and served hot. Very friendly staff and reasonable choice of beer. Hard to complain about 3 dollar local beer

Baked Potato Fries. AMAZING is the only word that can be used to describe these fries! I LOVE cheese fries and order them everywhere that I go and these are by far the best I have ever eaten in my life. The Hot Platter is also super good. Onion rings are okay depending on what type of onion rings you like. Everything we have eaten there is good. Great place to drink a beer and munch while watching the football game. If you are going to watch a game, get there early so you can get a table near a TV with sound.

Maple Street's Best. My favorite neighborhood bar - Bruno's has great service, good food and a nice drink selection.
Occasionally some good specials too. Good place to catch the game. There will be a college crowd there, but the place isn't crawling with obnoxious undergrads.

New location (across the street) is a little different from the old, but if you remember it from back when, go again. Or check it out for the first time.

Will NEVER Return. They didn't have a vegetarian item on the menu so I asked the server if I could have a grilled cheese. She replied (annoyed that I had the audacity to make such a request) "there is only one person the chef will make a grill cheese for and he's a regular" and she stormed off. After sitting for a while (I was on lunch with coworkers), she comes back and I inquire if I had made an order; she spits at me something to the extent of "well, yea." At that point I tack on a side salad to my order and I thought she was going to lose it. Full was below par. I was charged not only for a full hamburger, but the extra cost of ordering a cheeseburger. I absolutely should have spoken to the manager but was avoiding a scene in front of my coworkers.

Good bar, good food. The Debris Fries are just perfect (or some might say, "ballin"). Everyone should try them. The bar only serves patrons that are 21 and older so it's a bit better than TJ Quills.

College bar to the max.. Great college bar atmosphere. Food is okay, but way overpriced. Beer and drink specials are fantastic, and definitely add to the review. Certainly a "frat bar" but definitely not as trashy/underage as the Boot. I find myself here a few times a week enjoying a game or two, and definitely getting down on some dollar beers.

Bruno's is a Bar, what do you expect?. Bruno's IS a bar. I don't know why anyone would go there for an actual meal, because the menu is loaded with things for folks who are loaded themselves. Half the menu is appetizers, to accommodate the hungry drunken frat boys that populate it late at night. I feel it's perfect for what it is, a bar.

Old pub on a great street. Near campus, a neighborhood standard since 1932. Not many students eat there anymore since the insane elevation of the drinking age to 21 in Louisiana.

Mostly burgers ($8 in '08), salads and po-boys. My burger toppings were decent. The wings were deep fried and battered before the almost-Buffaloy hot sauce was applied. Lots of appetizers with some interesting takes and local color. The waffle fries were fair. The salad huge, and loaded.. Good looking bar. No kids allowed. Lots of fun games, local memorabilia. Ate here 08

Bruno's Tavern is my favorite (and mostly for their food). They also have a happy hour special everyday
