This was such an amazing experience. Food was incredible delicious. Every bite is a new exploration. All flavors were so complicated and yet worked together so well. Highly recommend the caramel glazed pork shoulder with the coconut jasmine rice(I don’t know what they did to the coconut jasmine rice, it was so simple but mind blowing good!!) Desserts were amazing, we got cream brûlées and friend custard. Both are heavenly good. Staffs were very friendly and helpful. Thank you so much for the great experience!

By chance found this incredible new restaurant Maypop—a Thai/Vietnamese/Louisiana fusion place that was absolutely amazing. Flavors were uniquely mixed and textures were perfection. Don’t walk but run to this place before others discover it! Wow! 😍😍😍 Dessert, sweet potato, pork and chicken wings were outstanding

Amazing experience!! The ambiance was very nice, the staff was very accommodating and went the extra mile by bringing our vegetarian plates for my girlfriend on the house since most of their menu was meat based. The cocktail Pika Pika was a good spicy tequila and passion fruit blend but their wine menu was quite expansive too. The blend of fusion cuisine was very creative: - Spaghetti with blue shell crab in tomato broth - Tom Yum Thai Lemongrass soup with mushrooms and Gnocchi Both were very flavorful and packed with seasoning. 10/10 must visit!

Amazing southern fusion in a beautiful setting with a cool vibe. Everything on the menu is a winner and the cocktails are great too. We started off with the fried oysters; there’s a bit of Asian fusion to the style and presentation, and the oysters were perfect, not greasy and the right amount of batter. The ribeye was amazing, just enough fat and sear. I’ll admit that this wasn’t the healthiest of meals, but definitely worth it and will be back for the rest of the menu. Seems like a great place for a group or date night, and the bar always has a few seats just in case you didn’t make reservations.

This was hands down the best food we had on this trip. Not at all New Orleans food but it was a nice change of pace. The flavor was fabulous and I was so excited for the next plate to come out.

Was recommended this spot as a New Orleans must-go. The service was so friendly and helpful. Tried a few things from the menu. My personal favorite was the blue crab pasta, super well balanced and you can order extra crab for it if you’d like—I’d recommend getting more. Great place for group dinners, birthday dinners, and a nice date night.

I’m originally from Boston and this is one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. Brittany was very kind, personable, and attentive. The black drum fish is easily the best fish dish I ever had. So flavorful, little spicy, and the sweet potato purée greatly complimented the fish. The dish was filled with so much flavor but it still felt light at the end. I was full but not bloated and didn’t felt gross. The chef and the wait staff are top tier. Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience.

We came to Maypop last night for their Coolinary menu and it did not disappoint! The value for the food you get is very impressive ($45 for a 3 course dinner, and we added the $15 wine pairing option, which was also a great value.) My favorite dish we had was the Louisiana Blue Crab and Andouille Tom Yum over Gnochetti pasta. The only thing I wasn’t a fan of was the desert, (a little dry for my taste) but everything else was spot on!

Pleasantly surprised by the variety and creative flavors of this restaurant. Came during happy hour and was able to try several small portions and drinks at a very reasonable price. I would come back just for the spicy wings. The shrimp and lamb entrees were also great. The ambiance is modern and quiet, making it a nice spot for a relaxed date or happy hour spot before a night out.
