Words cannot fully describe Bertha's Place. This place is definitely a spot for locals, and is open really late. When we first arrived to NOLA, we were looking for some place close to our Airbnb that was still open, and this place was packed and filled with fun vibes! Its a bar, restaurant, and dance club! Everyone was very welcoming, and it was a fantastic beginning for our short stay in NOLA. The DJ was amazing! One bop after another! We ordered Yakamein which is apparently a unique NOLA noodle dish with Chinese roots that was really homey, and was exactly what we needed that night. We also ordered fried shrimp and oysters, and those were really bomb. On top of a bunch of fries it was a great deal for the price! One of our favorite spots during our stay, and we'll be back to say hello to Bertha :)
Good music. Good food. It gets crowded, so beware. New Orleans local spot. I didn't have any drinks, but I'm sure they were good. Valet parking if you get there early.

Great vibes! Locals were very friendly and welcoming! Did not have a chance to try the food. Drinks were great and reasonably priced.
The atmosphere here is a total VIBE! Laid back, easy going crowd, not too many youngsters. Definitely a great place to hang out.
Really enjoyed myself here, Total vide on Saturday nights. Everyone was chill and not to many youngins. Definitely will be back to eat next time.

It's a nice vibe, good dj mostly African American. The food is good but, the you vibe could be killed by the pressure of BUYING a drink. They don't give you time to see if a gentleman is going to flirt with you or your waiting on the rest of your party. Such a turn off. But alot of fun.
I went there with friends and it was empty, but the place was nice. It was clean too. It's an adult crowd 30 & up. The drinks are pricey. $8 for single shot E & J Brandy.

Me and my friends enjoyed ourselves. You can only be 30 and up to go in. I and one of my friends are 27. With one of our friends knowing someone, they let us in. And once we got in and heard the music it was a time. I love me some R&B music but they played a mixture. I have an old soul, so I will most definitely go back. I got the pork chop plate also, it was good as fxck.
Keesha is the BEST bartender & one of the cook's also works at The Ruby Slipper in the CBD. Good food, good drinks. True adult crowd with no rif-raff.

Bertha's is one of the hidden gems in New O and can possibly be the highlight of your night. Make sure you get you a plate or 2 before the kitchen closes!! Everything is real real good!!

My friends and I were told this was a place we would like to dance and enjoy ourselves. We did go and was excited as the music was good and love to see people dance as we were dancing as well. The lady by the bar in the back was a little rude when asking questions as she took care of someone else instead of taking care of us as we were first. We will be back again as we did enjoy ourselves.
