Roast beef PoBoy! The Best in New Orleans in my opinion. They do it right! Conveniently located on Bourbon Street. Small hole in wall kind of place but I believe it is actually part the world famous Court Of Two Sister's Restaurant as it is located right behind it. Another one of our favorite places to get a PoBoy in the French Quarter.

It’s a cute little hole in the wall. I got the seafood gumbo and it was good for my first time having it. My friend got the beans and rice and said it was good as well. It was a nice place and not as crowded as others places here

This place is great. Every year when I go back to NOLA, (and I'm born and raised nola) I make it a point to eat here. The people aren't rude, there is no "racial divide" that exists. It's a local, authentic place to grab a bite to eat that's extremely delicious. Lose the attitude and high standards prior to walking in the door and you just might enjoy yourself!

I have no idea what people are complaining about. I am a professionally trained chef. The food here is good. Is it a 5 star establishment? No. It's a hole in the wall serving delicious down home food. The red beans and rice while a touch bland, was spot on. The boudin was pretty good. I spent $250 at a famous New Orleans establishment on Royal St also named "court", that has two trees in the courtyard and would gladly have been back at court tavern.

Staff was friendly and helpful with picking items on the menu. The cold boiled shrimp po boy was amazing and the jambalaya was good too. It's relatively cheap and easy to get in and out of while walking bourbon street. Not sure why this place doesn't get better reviews except that people are spoiled and expect Michelin service at McDonald's prices

It is simple and authentic. Nothing fancy. We stopped to check out the menu and saw locals eating there so thought we would try it. The gumbo was legit! Really hit the spot. Tried a bit of my brother-in-law's muffaletta and it was great. The olive mix was amazing. The bread was warm and soft and oh so yummy. Atmosphere is low-key with counter service. A nice break from the crowded loud atmosphere of Bourbon Street. You can get your grub on then get back at it without having to pay for heavy cover charges or hype.

My boyfriend wanted some authentic food and I'm a picky eater. We were really short on time before a tour, and found this place down the street. Really quick service. He got jambalaya, which he said was good. I got a chili dog, which was also good. Super cheap, too! Our whole meal was less than $15.

Yes service was atrocities, or they just hate white people. But I didn't go there to make friends or Unite the racial divide. I went to eat some down home Nawlins food. And that's what I got. the sausage, red beans and rice were the best hands down not just in new Orleans ANYWHERE, and the gumbo was pretty dam good to.
