Great old school lunch spot for us. We go about once a month and always good food at reasonable prices. The fried chicken is the bomb here. The fries are great too. The staff are always friendly and the place is always clean. Food comes out quickly too. Parking can sometimes be an issue during peak times but here is an open lot across Franklin if it's busy. Stop in and grab some good food from great people. Tell em Bart sent ya. :)

Another very good meal. Had the liver & onions, mashed potatoes, and very fresh, full house salad. My company had the meat loaf special & mashed potatoes with smotherd cabbage. I'm glad they brought back French bread with the meals. Would have preferred the liver to be thicker, but it was still tasty. I am looking forward to my next visit.
8-30-2023, another wonderful fried catfish plate with take a car and house salad. My guess had the daily special white beans with okra. Delicious as can be. Great food, good prices.

Always delicious. Today I got the catfish plate with fries and potato salad. Yum! Fish is nice and seasoned and soft.
The fish entree and the shrimp entree were both good. But the white chocolate bread pudding was just ok.
Fantastic little place featuring Southern cooking. May not be the current title holder for best chicken around but they have to be close. We had a taste for chicken but lots on the menu that caught our eye. We just beat the rush because it was very busy after we sat down.
Hands down the very best fried chicken we found anywhere in the south! An absolutely MUST destination place, even if it's out of your way. Portion sizes are large, chicken is out of this world, and the customer service was incredible. If I could give this a 100 star, I would. We traveled by car for just over a month and without question, this was one of our very favorite meals and hands down, the best fried chicken we'd ever tasted! They deserve my highest recommendation and I am confident that you'll love them too!
We were told this was the best fried chicken around so we had to give it a try. The chicken tasted fresh out of grandma’s kitchen! The bread pudding was just the way we love it. The praline topped Cheesecake was just as wonderful. Their fries were even wonderfully seasoned and was a nice change to just regular fries you buy at most places. Give them a try!

"I recently dined at Fiorella's in New Orleans and let me tell you, it was an absolute pleasure. From the moment I walked through the door, the service was top-notch. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure that my dining experience was nothing short of perfect.
But let's talk about the food - oh my goodness, the food was out of this world! I started off with the chicken skins, which were crispy and full of flavor. But the real star of the show for me was the veal parmesan. It was cooked to perfection and the flavors were absolutely divine. And just when I thought it couldn't get any better, I finished off my meal with their white chocolate bread pudding. It was the perfect ending to an already amazing meal.
But what really stood out to me was the fact that when I walked out the door, the staff went out of their way to say thank you and make sure I had a great experience. It's little touches like that that really make a difference.
Overall, I highly recommend Fiorella's to anyone looking for a fantastic meal and unparalleled service. I will definitely be back for more of that delicious veal parmesan and white chocolate bread pudding. 5 stars all around!

Older review: The young man who took my order and was at the register when I picked up my food just made my day. We were laughing on the phone and in person. I wish I had gotten his name so I could rave about him to the owner/manager. Oh and the whole point of this review is to say how much I LOVE the fried chicken. There's always a ton of places to eat while in N.O. but I make it a point to eat here several times a week when I visit. Sorry, no pics to give you this time...because I ate it all!!!
We loved this cafe! It's a quintessential "hole-in-the-wall" joint. You can't beat homemade food! It was like eating at Grandma's. Our table ordered fried chicken, spaghetti, a burger, and the muffuletta. All of them were SO good-- the fried chicken blew everything out of the water! The portions were HUGE--Southern cooking at its finest!! I wish the red beans weren't only a Monday menu item, as I would have loved to have some. Worth the stop! Indoor dining was available...I'd come here often if I lived here!
