I had a falafel platter at French Quarter Festival prompting my entire family to eat at the restaurant for dinner last night. We all had fantastic meals that sastified a variety of diets. My seven-year-old told me to leave her alone while she savored the tahini sauce on her falafel. The place was casual, cozy, and welcoming. We would definitely return when we are back in NOLA. I hope the weather is nice next time, too, so we can enjoy that great patio in the middle of a quaint Mid-City neighborhood.

We were greeted by a wonderful young lady who happened to also be our server. We were a group of 5 guys visiting from another state and craving some middle eastern food. This place did not disappoint. Excellent service, apps and main dishes. The food was portioned and priced perfectly. It also served one of the best Turkish coffees we have had.

I love @sajnola !! I could come back over and over again and every small plate is just perfect. I’m especially obsessed with the baked feta. Bread was amazing and is not filling as say pitas, and it’s even better for their amazing small plates cuz u get to have more!! I also order grilled lamb every time!!! Btw it’s so byob 😍

Wow!! This spot is so well decorated and the food is incredible! We loved the baked feta and goat cheese! The bread is so thin, delicious and covered in delightful spices. Their house made sodas were a favorite as well. They also take tap to pay which was lucky for me! I forgot my wallet! 🤣

A great new addition to the magazine st corridor! The menu is straightforward and varied. The hummus is exceptional and in my view better than both Shaya and Saba. The Saj bread is more akin to a light naan and a more flavorful and useful option than a traditional puffy pita. They are still working on hiring additional staff so the service may be a little slower but it’s absolutely worth it!

Would recommend. Stopped by for a late lunch after spotting a lamb chop option on the menu. Their lunch players are excellent and more than enough for a simple stop. The saffron rice was delicious and the lamb charred but juicy, great to bite into. The house salad is fantastic as well, alongside their smooth hummus setup. I'd also recommend trying their house-made sodas. The Peach Mango option was refreshing and not at all too sweet. I bet the Current Raspberry is also great. Finished off with the Turkish Coffee and Tiramisu. Personal favorite combo of mine after a few years in Seattle near their Marrakesh place. Very relaxed place mid afternoon. Easy to seat a small group or go solo. The staff is helpful and friendly with good recommendations and knowledge of their menu. Style wise, great drop in for a date or casual night out.

It's a nice little place with a relaxed vibe. Baked Feta is quite good, we liked their Paella and Hummus too. Loved their Saj bread, more like a paratha(Indian flat bread). But I find their Turkish coffee sweet to my taste.

As a Palestinian, we’re really into food and especially its flavor… this was hands down one of the best middle eastern based food i have ever had. I will definitely be coming back here, the Saj bread is addictive!!!! All the dips were delicious, the asparagus and feta dish was my favorite. The meat was so good, i loved how exquisite and juicy it was. I felt so satisfied and full without feeling bloated and exhausted, that says a lot! they also make personalized flavored sodas with unique flavors, loved that! on top of that, the restaurant was so beautiful with the decor and all the elements of a middle eastern but western modern feel. almost felt like home. i would definitely recommend coming here!!!!
