Okay - I have to admit. We visited the Canal Street location THREE times in one weekend. Started with Gumbo and Jambalaya to go on the first visit, got more Jambalaya and tried the chicken the second time to go and OMG, it was so good, we went back later and decided to eat in the restaurant. So glad we did, we tried all four sauces and they all were fantastic, but the Special Sauce ��� (especially good with the biscuit). Can you deliver to Ohio/Indiana daily please? �. The location was always busy but it was worth the wait and once we ordered, the food came fast. So, so, so good.
Willies is by far the best fried chicken I have ever had!!! Super awesome frozen drinks, too!!!! Fun place to stop for the end of the night bar hopping trip or just for a bite to eat!!!!!
After a lot of walking in the area, this chicken place is always a great place for good well seasoned chicken and a biscuit. The chicken is hot, a little greasy but good. The fries are delicious and crisp. I would not recommend the fish. It tasted really fish and wasn’t good.
Was my first time trying Willie's. Ordered the 2- Piece White (Breast and Wing), the chicken was nice and hot. the biscuit is the underdog!!! Also ordered the Hypnosis Daquari!!! Was strong and sweet. Loved the whole atmosphere, great customer service, fast service as well.If you're out and about on Canal during the Day or late at night, stop by Willie's Chicken Shack.
This is some of the best chicken I have ever had. Crunchy outside and moist inside. The frozen drinks was also great. I did the Hurricane 151 mix and was not disappointed. I will be eating their again!
Chicken was really good and to say it was a busy Saturday afternoon the atmosphere was nice and welcoming. Daiquiri was great as well. I gave it four stars because the prices were CRAZY. Way overpriced.
Riding through New Oeleans and stopped here to eat lunch. I had the 6 wings and a roll. Fries came separately ($6). Also had a medium sized Hurricane. In true New Orleans fashion, the alcoholic beverages were strong. The chicken was fried and seasoned well. Service was fast. Restrooms were clean and locked with a number pad. The code to the Restroom was on the bottom of the receipt. Bad thing... I spent $35 on what I just named.

For a quick bite, this was great. The red beans and rice are pork free and still tasty. The chicken was hot and crispy. I was skeptical but the food was fresh which I appreciated it.
My wife was very excited about going to Willie's. The chicken was tender and tasty but I didn't eat any of the skin(crust). My wife LOVED the biscuits but thought they tasted like they were cooked with molasses. My wife got a big frozen drink. It could have used some more flavor!
Just had the Mango drink every single day we visited New Orleans. It was the best! Very well balanced: not too strong nor light. Almost did not taste the alcohol, but got the job done. Being frozen, it helps keep cool in the afternoon while walking around. Nice half-yard chicken cup. I brought a lanyard to hang around the neck for easier carrying around. They should sell them. Other places with similar concepts sell yard lanyards for $1
First time in New Orleans & at Willys! I could immediately tell that it was fantastic chicken! It was a little over $13.00 for 6 wings. To me that was a bit to high but it was St Patrick’s Day & Bourbon St. They were as delicious as I expected just from the smell when we walked in. I thought about them the rest of the day because they were so good.
Holy hot chicken goodness! We got the chicken wings, and they were fantastic! So crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Also, do yourself a favor and get a biscuit or 10. They're exceptional.
They also have giant frozen drinks, so delicious!
