Great food. Read menus at table then order at counter. Food is brought to table. Service great. Food was great…tuna sandwich, chicken tenders were excellent. Bathrooms very clean. Handicap accessible but parking on street.

This place is so cute! I do love myself a themed restaurant but I also sometimes find when a restaurant focuses on a theme or gimmick that the food quality can suffer. With Picnic and Provisions this couldn't be further from reality. The decor and outdoor games and the entire picnic theme is so cute.. but the food is outstanding. We loved the pimento cheese dip (I've never had it hot!) and the combo plate. We had to roll ourselves out of there we were so full. Will definitely be back to sit outside when its a little cooler!

You ever been craving fried chicken and don’t want to sit in a drive through for 45 minutes? WELL NO MORE! This place is incredible. Stunning and fresh food! A very welcoming staff, and the prices are outstanding. One of my favorite uptown spots! Also they do catering! Plus if you get the grill cheese, make sure to add pepper jelly and bacon. You can thank me later.

Pro's- the fried chicken is really good. Among the best in the city. You can taste the subtle flavor of the crawfish boil seasoning. Also, the sauce is excellent. Additionally, the décor was very warm and welcoming. Con's- the biscuits were burnt and dry. Some melted butter would have helped. Also, this was very expensive. I was full and I enjoyed it, so I got my money's worth, but the cost was noteworthy. Honestly, I'd be less critical of that if the biscuits weren't such a disappointment. Still, I would recommend the place.

I love this cute neighborhood spot! I had to find a time to sample the crawfish boil-spiced fried chicken thigh biscuit (yes, you read that right) on my recent trip and it was certainly worth the effort. The fried chicken thigh is nestled inside a warm buttermilk biscuit topped with pimento cheese & pepper jelly with their "picnic pulp" (magic pookie dust) sprinkled on top. Whew-wee!! This was a meal itself but also came with your choice of side. The fingerling potatoes were good, although I wish they were a bit crispier and slightly less of a portion. I know, crazy right? Just know the portions are sizable. Oh, that lemon miso drizzle... delicious!! The side biscuit with warm salted butter was good but I wish they had some fruit jam to have alongside, the only jam option was the (tasty) pepper jelly. Maybe in spring/summer, eh? They have a full bar, happy hour, do picnic delivery, catering, grab and go items, etc. Just the perfect spot for the whole family! I can't wait to return to try more of the menu!

Such a cute little spot. The customer service was so pleasant and friendly! The atmosphere alone is 5 stars! Love great service. The food was made well, fresh, and hot. I enjoyed my experience there! The crab and corn balls was different but delicious! Anyway check them out. It's totally different but it works!

I usually don’t review restaurants but something drove me and my partner to both review this place and it’s this AMAZING food. We ordered the picnic basket of 8 pieces of hot fried chicken thighs with 2 sides and 4 biscuits “for 2” and it was both delicious and MORE THAN generous in portions. The first bite of that freshly oven baked biscuit was like fireworks. On top of that, we came during their very late happy hour window (until 7pm) and whiskey drinks were ridiculously cheap PLUS friendliest waiters. All in all, a great meal in a great environment at great prices with leftovers for next day. My partner and I were surprised that not more people were inside enjoying this gem of a place. I really wish my hometown had a place like this. Please support this place during this hard time!

Service was excellent! The boudin egg rolls were great and so was the fish dip. My chicken sandwich had a nice presentation, however the meat was dry and tough. Based on the other food being great, I'll assume it was a one-off. We'll return again if we're in the area. Outdoor and indoor eating area and a relaxed environment.
