Awesome place love going here for brunch been going for the past 5 years even proposed to my fiancé here and the staff made it a perfect day. Always awesome food and awesome service can’t say enough about this place awesome location only blocks from city park. We go for the food every time and return because of the staff hands down favorite place in Nola!!!!

The food was great. But most importantly the beautiful sexy waitress I had was the best! I don't come to New Orleans much but I think I may have to just to get some great food that is served by a beautiful black woman with braces! I can't wait to see her again. Great personality and the best body! I wouldn't go anywhere else!!!

A true neighborhood restaurant! This adorable Cafe is the perfect place to get great food with great service. The staff know the menu and give great recommendations. They also know their customers, I over heard so many warm greetings and catching up after travels. The food was very good! I got the pest chicken sandwich and my partner got the turkey avocado. Both were great and the sweet potato fries are so good! We also got a bowl of their shrimp corn chowder, a little heat and lots of shrimp! I can't wait to go back for breakfast or the happy hour soon! Street parking is free and can be a little hard to find during busy hours.

Cafe Navarre is one of the last few remaining old school New Orleans neighborhood restaurants. The dining room is not fancy, clean enough, and pretty tight but comfortable. They don’t have a lot of classic New Orleans dishes, but a few favorites remain, like the roast beef poboy. It came on a toasted bun, the bread was solid. It wasn’t really a juicy beef, but it wasn’t dry either. It was kind of unusual, but very tasty. I asked for mayo, but somehow it came without it. No problem. I got a better taste of the beef. There was no wait when we got there at noon on a Sunday, but while we were there some people had a little wait. There were tables outside but it was so hot I can’t imagine that would have been pleasant.

A lovely local breakfast spot! I enjoyed my Navarre special, especially the cheesy jalapeno grits, and my bloody mary, and was thoroughly knocked out after confusing half of my carb loaded plate (although the alcohol and outdoor seating may have had a significant part in that as well ;) ). Both of their salads also look good and their frosty alcoholic beverages are strong and satisfying! And the bite I tried of their bacon avocado eggs benedict was divine.

I’ve come many times for the frozen cocktails (highly recommend!) but came this time for lunch and all the food - kids menu, poboys, salad - looked amazing and I will attest to the Dirty Bird with turkey and roast beef debris as phenomenal.

Always good..neighborhood dining. 10-01-2023 update. Had the Cuban panie and was tasty, and so was the turkey & avocado panie. A bit noisy indoors. Could do without the rap music 🤮 01/07/2020 update. Another very good meal tonight. Panini , fried catfish, and a wonderful sloppy roast beef. Never disappointing coming here.

Amazing no fuss breakfast spot. Try the breakfast bowl and the dirty grits (grits topped with roast beef and gravy)

I came not too long ago and had brunch with my best friend. Very friendly and charismatic. I live about 40 minutes away but it’s worth the drive for the good food and the amazing customer service!

Really cool neighborhood spot. Very busy around 11am on Sunday. Service was solid all things considered. Food was great. I had the avocado bacon Benedict and cheesy jalapeno grits. Good, low-key vibe.

Got some garbage fries and a nice and a nice Poboy roast beef. Could’ve been more meat but it’s all the same cause the food was super good. Fries are always a favorite from here, woof damn are those some good fries. This place has a nice location, the atmosphere is just okay but the location is excellent. I also came back and tried the salad and lunch special and it was pretty good. I would say this place is good enough, definitely.
