I've never been a seafood person. I like shrimp and salmon and that's about it. I might not eat it anywhere else, but I'd definitely eat the catfish and crawfish here again. It's was delicious. The staff is also super friendly. It might look like a hole in the wall, but those usually make the best kinds of restaurants and Clesi's is one of them!

Whether the star limit was 5, 10, or 100, I would give Clesi's the maximum rating possible. They catered a crawfish boil for my brother's bachelor party and it was out of this world! Kelly and Scott, who actually did the boil, were awesome and the food itself was the best we had the whole trip. I would absolutely recommend that anyone planning any sort of event in New Orleans give these guys a call!

We started with the boudin bites and the Jucifier IPA, both were amazing, and for the entrée had the boiled shrimp, crabs, sausage, corn, and potatoes. The boiled seafood was traditional Louisiana style and very tasty. Spice level was 👌 We were a bit confused as to why none of the crabs had their claws, as they are the best part of the crab. The shrimp were huge and did not disappoint. Overall, everything was well made. Loved the atmosphere of the place. I wouldn't suggest sitting outside when the mosquitoes are in season - which in my experience is year round. Nasty little boogers.

So glad we went away from the crowd of downtown New Orleans to find this place. We made reservations but got there a little early and were seated right away. The waitress was friendly and didn't skip the beat with service. The food was good and everyone left with full bellies.

Raw oysters were exceptionally fresh and tasty and the fried alligator bites were tender and spicy. I would give service 6 stars since it was excellent, fast and friendly. Don't miss their legendary crawfish boil in season! Bonus, close to City Park!

Wonderful food, service, and vibes. Ordered the seafood boil platter, a salad, and a dessert to share between 2 people. Hannah was wonderful and helpful navigating our first seafood boil. The patio was a comfortable volume and lit well.

Come on Margarita night! Came for the seafood boil *ask for the garlic butter and crab butter (it's a naked boil). They were out of blue crab so I asked if they could add in extra shrimp which were nice and large. Also, had the crawfish Mac and boudin. Drinks were strong and atmosphere and service was great!

I’m from Houston and I came here with a group of 4 and the food is amazing! We asked our server about the crawfish, and she said that Texas likes to add flavor on the outside, while Louisiana likes to add flavor within. She was right! The crawfish here is SO GOOD. I also tried the jambalaya and crawfish chips and queso and they were super good too!

Really good crawfish! The hostess was so nice and accommodating! We didn’t have to wait long at all for a table. The crawfish was hot and delicious! The crawfish ragoon and chicken wings were a great appetizer. Their happy hour has a lot of options for drinks wine and beer. Definitely worth a stop in!

The seafood boil tasted excellent and it was interesting to see them cook the food. Hannah was an excellent server. She had great recommendations and was attentive. Definitely worth trip out of the French Quarter for a unique dinner here. It was a highlight of our trip to New Orleans.

Great spot mid city to enjoy ice cold beers, outdoor seating, and deliciously boiled seafood. Crawfish were great, good sized oysters on the half shell, and delicious fried broccoli.

03-04-2023 Had a really tasty lunch with some friends. We were celebrating our friend's birthday. Was a little wait as expected, lunch on a Saturday. We were seated and were quickly ordering our drinks and appetizers. Lots of tasty options at Clesi's. They offer SO many sides... French fries, onion rings, fried green beans, side salad, jambalaya, crawfish mac and cheese... And a many more! I had the seafood platter with fried catfish, shrimp, and oysters with my side of fried green beans. My wife had the boiled platter. 1 lb of crawfish and 1 lb of shrimp with potatoes and sausage. We added the option of boiled mushrooms. Such an amazing birthday lunch for my friend. Thank you so much Clesi's Seafood Restaurant and Catering.
