Get yourself here and eat the shrimp and grits. It's light and flavourful until the last bite. I might add more cheese to the fish but I'm a cheese head.
Perfect amount of shrimp with the dish. You don't feel like there is too much or not enough for the amount of grits you get. I would eat this dinner again. I had a ginger beer with my drink.

Phenomenal oyster selection allowing you to enjoy West coast, East coast and gulf oysters without leaving the area. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly. It's a very intimate location that feels like you went back in time after you walked through the door. We enjoyed watching the street cars going by as we enjoyed our food.
Paid parking is easy and across the street.
My wife and I came here on our anniversary and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Happy hour is definitely a great time to try the menu and the staff made great suggestions for wine pairing with our food.
It does get loud, but if you can get in early it's not a problem.

Want to thank our server on Christmas Eve for being so kind and teaching us so much! It was my husband’s first time eating fresh raw oysters and I am so glad he got to experience them here. Our server was knowledgeable and patient with our learning curve. My lobster roll was absolutely fantastic. Also, they accommodated us on a holiday without a reservation which was very kind and considerate of them. Very lounge, chill, have a great glass of wine type of vibe.

Epic fresh oysters, paired with some one-of-a kind cocktails makes this place a must for anyone who likes seafood. Don’t forget to ask for some homemade saltine crackers! You will not be disappointed!

It is a great restaurant located just outside of the French Quarters. Something for everyone on the menu. The staff was helpful and welcoming. The food was cooked perfectly and prepared just like I ordered. If you are looking for something outside of the Quarters, look no further.

Amazing food, stellar service, refined yet pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. Was fortunate to receive an educational component to my dining experience from the chef that had industry experience in NY, which was pretty awesome and helped contribute to making the experience my best dining experience in nola to date. Had the snapper, a variety of oysters, the house old fashioned, and pecan pie. Everything was excellent.

I was on vacation in NOLA and visited Seaworthy for happy hour. The oysters were very reasonable priced and delicious, as were the fries and my Paloma Mezcal drink. Great vibe and cozy environment. They have a beautiful courtyard area too. I noticed it when I went to the restroom. Seaworthy staff is very friendly too.

Absolutely stunning restaurant. The decor and overall atmosphere were perfect! The cocktails were well crafted and the food was out of this world! Our server was fantastic and gave us some really thoughtful recommendations. Will definitely be returning next time I’m in New Orleans.

Wow!! We loved their happy hour so much that we came back twice in three days. Two dozen oysters for $36?!? Yes please (to be fair we ended up having three dozen each time). The restaurant itself is lovely with a beautiful decorated patio, and exceptionally friendly and attentive staff. This place is everything we love about New Orleans food and hospitality. We couldn’t say a bad thing about Seaworthy if we tried! This was probably the highlight of our trip, and we will be singing its praises for months to come!

Sounds like some picky people complaining about service, but from my experience, the service across the board was EXCEPTIONAL. From hosts to table service to bartenders, we were treated incredibly well by everyone, and the service I noticed towards other tables was high-level as well. Oysters were amazing and a great selection, lobster was brilliant, vibe was energetic without being partypartyparty vibe. Will be back for more of the menu BECAUSE of the great service!!

It's very small so I would definitely recommend reservations. The food was excellent. I had a mix of the east coast oysters which were fresh and amazing. I also had the shrimp and grits. They were delicious as well, I just wish there were a little bit more of the grits. I would definitely go back next time I'm in town.

I ate at Seaworthy this past weekend. I shared a seafood tower and the cauliflower dish with my husband. Immediately after we placed our order the server came back and stated that one of the 4 items on the tower, the ceviche, wasn't available. I was extremely disappointed by that, but they offered to give us more shrimp, so we just kept our order in. The seafood tower made up for all the confusion! It was fresh and delicious. They ended up bringing us more oysters than shrimp but we asked for that to be corrected. Of everything on the tower, 1 lobster, 4 shrimp (we had a few extra), and 8 oysters (we had extra), I liked the oysters the least. We had 4 varieties of oysters, one variety I loved, the other I liked, the other 2 tasted kind of fishy, I didn't like those. The lobster was some of the best I've ever had, as were the shrimp. The cauliflower dish was delivered to us cold and the curry sauce was off putting and it overpowered the delicate flavor of the cauliflower. Also, it was listed as a cauliflower steak but came out as a pile of cauliflower florets. They should really consider revamping that dish. It's a bit too dark in there for my taste and the tables are really small. Overall though, this place is definitely worth a try. Some of the best seafood I've ever had!

I admit we came to a seafood restaurant for a burger. The burger was delicious - just a bit too much cheese so felt a little overwhelming and heavy. Otherwise a really great burger. The pork belly appetizer was also delish and there were great cocktail options. The upstairs restaurant decor was rustic and lovely - completely won me over.

We went here mainly because they had oysters. We didn’t have a reservation or know what to expect. They were pretty packed but the staff worked with us and we were able to get a seat on the patio.
It was an amazing atmosphere and very chill. We mainly came for the oysters but the menu looked so good that we had several small plates. We had the crudo trio, bread, and ceviche. We couldn’t go wrong. We also had the BLT cocktail and it blew our mind.
I would highly recommend to any foodie.

Im not exaggerating when I say this was the best meal I've ever had. There was nothing that didn't blow my mind. The service is outstanding (Julia was a total sweetheart and was so nice and inviting with great tips for visitors to the city), I can't even verbalized how amazing the food was (both the caviar and the burger were easily my standouts), the drinks were perfect and the ambiance is just perfect. 10/10 recommend to anyone and everyone.

We had a table of four and ordered the fried oysters, crab claws, tuscan lettuces, ceviche, red snapper, burger and a selection of raw oysters. Everything was fantastic except the crab claws as there was virtually no meat on them. Service was pretty good. Drinks were pretty good as well. Definitely gonna return. Oh and the burgers was rocking and I'm a burger snob.

Amazing food. Highly recommend the oysters, the best we've had in New Orleans. Bartender Matthew? (Think that was his name) was incredible. You can tell he truly takes pride in his craft!! Place was a bit smaller than I expected, but we only saw the bar area.

We were a party of 4 and enjoyed small plates consisting of crab claws, shrimp, ceviche, pork belly, soft shell crabs. Everything was served timely, hot, and with good presentation! We dined in the bar which has a simple welcoming New Orleans ambience. The food and cocktails are excellent and we all plan on being regular patrons
