We had a group of us go to Walk Ons downtown this Saturday night for some great food before a Pelicans game. They were very busy and our group of five people took a seat at the bar. We had a wonderful waitress who was very courteous and on point even though she was very busy tending to a bunch of tables. We ordered two appetizers before our meals and once our orders were placed our group started enjoying talking about the nights agenda. We noticed that our appetizers were taking a little longer than we thought, but we as a group just decided not to say anything because they were extremely busy and if our food came all at once it just be more stuff to pick from while eating our entree. At this point the waitress came up and without anyone at our table mentioning anything about the delay of our appetizers, she states how she’s apologizing for the delay and that they were going to comp the appetizers from the meal. Most restaurants/wait staff generally are not preemptive in this regard. It was nice to see that the waitress was genuinely concerned about her table. She was great. The manager came over twice and talked with us... checking to make sure our entree’s were good and some nice small talk. He was also very friendly, courteous, and professional. The wife and I usually go to Walk On’s in Metairie twice a month. The Ribeye Poboy is unbelievably good and it’s what I get almost all the time and my wife loves her Pattymelt. We have gone to Walk On’s at least twenty times over the last few months and we have never once had a bad experience. We really enjoy our time there with great food. Once again this weekend we had another great night starting with great food and service at Walk On’s. Of course we will be going back and we always recommend the place as a fantastic place to relax and eat some great food! Thanks again Walk On’s. Thank you to the waitress we had tending the bar area and the manager on duty around 6:00 PM! Great service!

Me and my husband had terrible service experience the first time we ate here the food was great that time and also this time but what made us leave this review is only one person and her name is Cameron aka Cammy, she had great recommendations and we never waited for anything she was nothing more than excellent and this review is coming from a husband and wife that both work in fine dining restaurants in New Orleans so bravo and thanks so much for 360 degree turn from a few months ago Walk Ons.!!!!! P.S. keep cammy for as long as you can!!!!

A Delightful Experience at Walk On Sports I recently had the pleasure of dining at Walk On Sports, and my experience was nothing short of delightful. The standout feature was undoubtedly the delicious food that left a lasting impression. Each dish showcased culinary excellence, making the dining experience truly enjoyable. Beyond the delectable cuisine, the exceptional service provided by our waiter, Dallas, added an extra layer of satisfaction. Dallas was not only friendly but also went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was seamless. Her attentiveness and helpful recommendations enhanced the overall enjoyment of the meal. In addition to the fantastic food and stellar service, the ambiance at Walk On Sports contributed to a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere.

We went here two nights in a row! This place was fabulous! I ate chili salmon & broccoli on one night & lemon butter chicken with corn grits & broccoli on another night. Both dishes were delicious! My first waiter was on top of it all! He came back to check on us several times & made sure we were ok. The second waitress not so much. She checked on us, but not as attentive as the waiter was. One of the main reasons we returned to be honest was the waiter & the quality of food!

Date Of Service: July 13, 2023 Time: 6:30PM Was greeted with a smile and a very sports bar type atmosphere but extremely clean! Our server's name is Nick and he was AMAZING! We ordered the stuffed shrimp and it was so good! I could have ate that for dinner! I ordered the Cajun Ribeye and it was very flavorful! And decently priced! I will definitely return and highly recommend this place!

My wife and I were visiting New Orleans with some friends from California and decided we would go watch football at Walk-On's since we enjoy the one at home in Lake Charles. It was every bit as good as the one in Lake Charles, from service to quality. I definitely recommend if you're in New Orleans and want to catch a game and enjoy a great meal with friends.

Stopped by for dinner after a late workday. Most restaurants nearby closed at 9pm and this was one of the few for a couple blocks that was still open at 10pm. Atmosphere was relaxed and clean, with a few other patrons dining in. Music wasn’t blaring and the TVs had various sports playing. Our waitress was nice and helpful, answering various questions. The Raging Redfish was excellent. I chose the crawfish cream for the topping, which I highly recommend. The fish was fresh and flaky, not too fishy. The blackened seasoning was great and the crawfish cream balanced it out. Bayou pasta was also good. Cream sauce was flavorful and the fried shrimp added a nice crunch.

A very nice place to get some great food and catch a game. Everything we ate was delicious and largely portioned. The restaurant was clean and relaxing. The bathrooms were also very spacious and clean. The staff was great, quick, & friendly. Would definitely come back next time I'm in New Orleans.

I had never been to this place before even though it's apparently a Louisiana franchise, which I did know simply because it has a very New York feel to it, but more so in a popular sports chain sort of way, which definitely isn't a bad thing but since I'm not a big sports person it's definitely not my first go to. However that being said the food was actually really amazing and our bartender was really sweet and great at her job and making our drinks. The food also was really good portion size, we only got the spinach dip and some boom boom shrimp and the portion sizes got both of us. Though I never super hungry at lunch time.

The food was great! Our server was great! Our server also made great meal suggestions. We stopped in for lunch, and I'm glad we did. The adults got blueberry mojitos. Trust me, try them! They were great! It was a cooler, grey kinda day when we went, so we ordered more comfort food. I got a steak Po boy, my hubby got adult grilled cheese, the kids got grilled cheese, a Cajun burger and chicken tenders. We all enjoyed our food. We were glad we stopped in.

Came in for quick bite and we were quickly introduced to Miss Caitlynn (with a C). She was such a breath of fresh air in the service department. Boudin balls and Boom boom shrimp tacos were spot on.
