Had an awesome experience. Bar seats for dinner with an awesome bar tender. The pork belly and the tempura shrimp were definitely highlights. The drinks were unique and our bartender was had great recommendations to our tastes. The praline ice cream was a perfect finish.
Atmosphere and great choices! Love it. Been here 4 times in 4 trips. Consistently stellar. Creative bar staff, ideally sized small plates, always a delightful musical surround. (Seriously strong selections in who the bring in. )
The stuffed dates, Italian tomato salad, the tempura shrimp. All strong and wiped clean by our table!
Nice place. Enjoyed our small plates a great bit. The only complaint I had was how crowded it was. We were stuck between two other parties and space was super tight. Busy, busy. The live music was great!
Inovative food and good music. The two hardest things here are getting a table and figuring out how to place your order, after that things get good. They do not take reservations and it is a fairly small place so go early if you can as you will probably want to take your time and listen to some music. Once we got a table next to the bar we asked the bar tender if we order from a server like the table sign implies and she said who takes your order can be confusing and then happily took our order. We started with the deviled eggs that were smooth and tasty and then had a flash fried shrimp dish that did not look like much with its small pieces in a bowl with a light sauce but it was good enough we could have ordered another bowl. The dishes here are not meant to be large and tastes of a few dishes while listening to music works well here. The food tastes chef driven and we would go back on our next visit to New Orleans.
The Highlight of our trip!. Visited NO for the first time the weekend of Feb 20. We loved the city, the people and the food. But our favorite spot of the long weekend was Three Muses. As we listened to French music played by and elderly man on an accordion and another guy on guitar we tried 4 items from the menu. First we had the Filet Lettuce wraps and were very pleased. Next the Fries which my wife loved (so did I). The edaname was fantastic with new seasonings instead of the normal plain old salt. But my favorite by far were the best fish tacos I have ever had.
The people next to us had the ravioli and said it was amazing.
Worth the wait! Sat at the bar and had a great time talking to guests and servers.

Great Sandwich. I love the place, the vibe, the music, and bulgolgi beef po-boy had great flavor. I want to return to try more dishes.
Best food we had in NOLA!. This was the tastiest food we had in New Orleans. We ordered bacon wrapped dates, basil gnocchi, fish tacos, & duck enchilada pizza. All so good! Our fav was the gnocchi. Portion size is small & so we kept ordering more. We didn't have to wait for a table but that was 6pm on a Thursday.
One-stop shopping. A friend who'd recently been to Three Muses recommended it to us before our trip down, so my husband and I went on Friday of St.Patrick's weekend. NOLA was crazy crowded, but we got in around 7, waited at the bar for about 15 minutes (during which time we enjoyed their lavender bitters champagne cocktail which I liked so much that I made a batch of lavender bitters as soon as we got home), then quickly got a table. We didn't understand the "order at the bar" part for a while, but enjoyed the music and our drinks as we slowly realized how to order. The small plates were excellent- light and flavorful. We were full without feeling stuffed. I had the beet and blood orange bruschetta, we split the red curry mussels (I'm going to be adapting this recipe for family dinners), and my husband had the ribeye bulgogi rice bowl. Their homemade kimchi was fabulous. Seems like we had two drinks each and three small plates for about $60.
Couldn't have written a better Saturday night in Nola than the one we had at this place! Great food, great music, great night! Feta Fries, Lamb Sliders, and Crab Wontons, amazing!
Fabulous but know your scene. This is not the place to go if you expect to be seated right away or have problems with crowded restaurants. Saying that, every single thing on this menu is amazing I have been frequenting this place since they opened and have had just about everything on their menu. Yes some things (steak and cake, feta fries, Mac and cheese, lamb sliders) are better than others. But trust me you won't be disappointed with whatever crosses your lips. Even their house speciality drinks (the muse is my favorite) are delicious, and I don't usually go for the uppity drinks. Most of their staff has multiply duties so everyone is always helpful, even when they are slammed.
Loved the 'vibez', it was lively, the food was very good, and the music was perfect. I wish there was food everyday. But for a quick Nola experience, walking Frenchmen St and stopping in here for food & drinks is perfect.
Good food and drinks, great atmosphere. We went these for a jazz concert and it was amazing. The staff are friendly.
Very nice quaint place. Excellent food! Nice atmosphere. Piano music just a little too loud for my taste but sounded good. Food is different now than what is generally posted. Such as no lamb sliders and mac. However, the food was excellent! Totally recommend!!
This is one of our favorite places! The food is delicious and the cocktails tasty. Plus the have live music! Highly recommend making a reservation as it is a small venue and we watch them turn walk ins away. I just wish they would expand their menu a little bit to include a few more dishes. Seems like it may still be limited from Covid. Maybe even just a fried rice with choice of protein and some type of dessert, I suggest something simple like green tea ice cream!
Ended up here on a Friday night around 8 PM. Got the charcuterie plate and listened to a live piano/violin duo that was excellent. Less crowded than other places on Frenchmen St., which made it a more intimate, cozy, low-key vibe. We had a great time!
Stopped by for a quick drink. The bartender was very nice. The live music was very nice to hear. There was a piano player and a drummer.
Good spot for drinks. They do offer food. However, I did not try any dishes.
Best bar for life music in NOLA. The quality of the band and sound is outstanding and the food and drinks menu is very good. Service was super attentive and given seating availability, this place might have reservation restrictions. I would go again without hesitation. Enjoy!
Had an amazing experience while dining on 9/9/23. Service was fantastic. The food was delicious. And the entertainment was wonderful. This is the only restaurant we continue to go back to while we’re in NOLA. I wish Steak and Cakes was still on the menu.
Amazing food and brilliant service. Cauliflower bites were to die for and the live music really adds to the ambiance. Cocktails were also great and all together well worth the price (which was very reasonable). Will definitely be dining here again!
We stopped in for live music and drinks. The staff was friendly and very good. Drinks were great and the bartender was all pro. The music was also great; Simon Lott… a fantastic trio of real musicians… look him up. The place wasn’t crowded and I don’t know why. It should have been packed! Check this place out!
