Delicious big salad. My 1st pecan pie(won't be my last). The only place I've found in town that offers oats for breakfast.

The breakfast was amazing. The ham was thick, the grits were ok, the eggs were good but the biscuit was perfection. It has been the best biscuit I’ve tried in town.
The price is a bit more expensive than others around, but the quality is better than other restaurants around as well. The portions were good and hefty as well. I couldn’t finish my plate!
I ordered the chicken and waffles for breakfast. It was topped with scrambled eggs. The food was delicious. Those chicken tenders were the best I've had in a very long time. If I go back to NOLA. I will definitely return to this place. The service was good as well.
We got some dinner at the cafe at the square. We went there about an hour before close and it was just a very relaxed and peaceful meal. I got a grilled chicken sandwich, and it was amazing. And they gave you the biggest serving of fries I've ever seen. Very fresh, very crisp, very delicious. The staff are quick and polite, and the atmosphere is laid back. You'll probably spend about 10 to $15 per person here. I don't see that it would be an issue to take any kids with you here. This is a spot that you want to walk to I believe. Although I did see some cars pulling up on the street outside but I don't think those were parking spots. Overall great experience and if I had the chance I would come back.
I recently had breakfast at this charming cafe and overall, it was a delightful experience. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, creating a pleasant ambiance for a morning meal. The location was also ideal, conveniently situated in a great spot.
One aspect that truly stood out was the delicious breakfast.
However, one area where the cafe could improve is the attentiveness of the staff. While the service was not terrible, I did notice a slight lack of attentiveness from time to time. There were moments when it took longer than expected to receive assistance or have questions answered. Enhancing the staff's attentiveness and responsiveness would certainly elevate the overall dining experience.
Nonetheless, I would still recommend this cafe to others. The wonderful atmosphere, great location, and delicious food make it a worthwhile visit. With a bit of improvement in the service aspect, this cafe has the potential to be an outstanding choice for breakfast or any other meal of the day.
Great portion of food we had a square burger with fries between us and we still left some fries. Oh and a glass of champagne haha each 😜🥂

The food was great, I made a loaded veggie omelet with real eggs and ordered a side of creamy shrimp sauce, since they didn't have any Eggs Benedict.... and it was better than I expected.
The Bloody Mary was on point, garnish and all
The service was nice because i did give them a hard time, but it was received with a smile.
They do have like 4355 different taxes on the bill tho... but the prices were reasonable.

I had five meals while in New Orleans. Four were here. The prices are very reasonable. Chef Nico is a master and generous.
Get the Grecian chicken or the creamy shrimp pasta. Or the hamburger steak. Or the red fish with crab.
The food and service was fantastic! The tuna sandwich was great, cooked perfectly. The burger and chicken tenders really hit the spot too!
The manager walked out and talked to the team about what they are supposed to wear in front of 3 tables was a bit uncalled for. Should have been a back of house talk or a huddle.
Regardless, the food and service was great! If you are staying in the Blake Hotel, I would stop in!
Delicious! Amazing hospitality! DON'T GET THE FULL SAUSAGE GRAVY AND BISCUITS UNLESS YOU HAVE AN ARMY TO FEED. I got the "half" and needed a to-go box. 🤣😳
Great little spot. I was staying at the Blake and it was pouring down raining my first morning in the Big Easy. So I chose to stay dry and check this place out. Great breakfast, good coffee and superb service. I was glad I shopped in. The steel cut oats were delish!
