Great layer back atmosphere. Decent food selection with many seafood options. The staff is receptive to guest needs. The platter was good but the mashed potatoes were a little bland. Overall good selection for dinner.
Dine at the Marina - best in New London,USA. This place is only a short taxi drive from the port. Water views of the marina so be sure to get a window seat. The seafood was very good with lots of local variety. Fish & Lobster are a good choice.
Very friendly area of the world
So so so SO great. Food was delicious, staff was insanely accommodating and friendly, and the atmosphere, music, and ambiance were perfect. . Plus it was reservations only and when we sauntered in without one the owner promised us a seat and managed to squeeze us in within 20 minutes.

Stash is the best!. Great food. Generous portions. We go there all the time. Try it on a Tuesday or Wednesday for a free bottle of wine with 2 entrees

On the Waterfront appears to be a locals favorite. It was very busy when we entered and there was a bit of a wait to get a table. In fact, at some point the hostess completely disappeared and when she returned there was quite a line of hungry patrons behind us. On the Waterfront caters to all size parties. I noticed larger parties of more than ten people as well as cozy dinners for two. They provide indoor and outdoor seating, all facing the water. There seemed to be a lot of activity around us when we were seated. The hostess neglected to provide us with menus when she sat us at our table so we just kind of sat and looked at each other until the server showed up … which took a while. When she did show up, the first thing she said was, “What do you have to do to get some service around here?” and she began filling our water glasses. I’m telling you, she really broke the ice with that statement and immediately put me in a better frame of mind. The hostess hurried over with our menus and
We had a great lunch of Bang Bang Shrimp and Fish and Chips. Delicious. Great service as well. I loved being able to sit on the marina deck, which is mostly outdoors but under cover and with heat lamps. Music was fun. The fish batter has dill in it and the perfect crunch. Really good. I’ll be back. The only thing I didn’t like was the cole slaw. It wasn’t really dressed at all.
Excellent food and ambiance and scenery, tons of outdoor seating overlooking the harbor. We had the fish tacos and a mojito. They also served a side of bread with a good garlic butter before the meal- highly recommended!

On the Waterfront Restaurant is the perfect place for small intimate family gatherings. We celebrated my husband's 50th birthday party here. The lighting and view of Thames candid. Everything was just perfect. Starting with communicating Andrea to our host Diana and the food just delicious and perfectly cooked. So thank you for everything and making my husband's birthday a memory that will last the lifetime. ❤️
This is my favorite restaurant! Anything I've ordered has been superb! I've brought many people there, who also loved it! I'll be back for the Baked Fisherman's platter soon!
Having never been to New London before, I was captivated by every nuance of this place, both inside and out. On street parking made things a little tricky, but we lucked out. We got there around 6:45 on a Wednesday night without reservations and were seated within 15 minutes. We had a cozy window seat near the bar, facing Pequot Ave. Our server was both professional and friendly. All three in my party ordered iced tea and the lobster roll with fries. The garlic butter that was served with a crispy warm bread was some of the best stuff I've ever put on a piece of bread. The iced tea was just the right strength, and didn't taste like it had been in a stainless steel pot all day. I've never had lobster roll before, but this was pretty good, as were the fries. This place feels more like a local eatery than a tourist trap.
This place is absolutely amazing. Not only do they have the amazing quality of their food but they also have fantastic drinks and the view is unbeatable. Every time we are in the state we have to come by and have at least one meal at The Waterfront. There's nothing that I or my husband have gotten here that we did not enjoy. This should be at the top of everyone's list when they are in the area.
