It's really a great place for some of the best seafood you will ever eat. If you haven't been and you're in the area stop by you won't be disappointed. This was my first time eating there and I'm in love with it. There food looks just like the advertisement photos.
My friends and I were really craving some seafood, and we decided to stop at this establishment. I ordered the Fried Shrimp and it was delicious. I loved how crispy the shrimp was, but the shrimp was still meaty and came in a generous portion. The clam chowder didn't disappoint because the broth was scrumptious. I would definitely stop by again if I was traveling thru New Haven.
Did a lobster roll tour around the area. I feel when you order a warm lobster roll Connecticut style it should be dripping butter and glistening with moistness and need napkins after your done. I’ve got more butter on my hands eating popcorn then this hehe. This one was rather dry and definitely won’t be making my “must have list”. Good things: Price point was very fair. 4 stars because the roll wasn’t horrible, just not great. Service was fast and friendly and I’m sure there’s other stuff on the menu that might be better. We also tried the fried dough just because we never seen it before, kids loved it. Tasted like, fried dough heh.
I had never been to the new place in my day it was "The Big Top" Restaurant, that was many, many years ago.
I am pleased to say the good was still up to par, excellent Bacon 🥓 Cheese Burger, fresh made, very tasty
Black owned business with delicious entrees to satisfy every palate. Seafood, ribs, chicken, fried dough, steak & cheese, mozzarella sticks...to name a few. Friendly staff. UberEats😋
I had fried clams. They were great smallish and sweet. The service was friendly and efficient.
Not bad at all. Fast service, average prices, good food. Reminds me of the old Chicks in West Haven.
Stop there occasionally for their cheeseburgers.
Char broiled. Fresh hard roll. One of the best around.
Footlongs good too.
Food is good but the portion size for a box of shrimp is 14 which is crazy Kevin’s d’amato’s give way more and let’s not talk about log cabin.. need to change that
