Cj's Restaurant

Went to CJ's for breakfast with my sister-in-law. The staff was friendly and met us at we entered and told us we could sit anywhere we liked. Our waitress came right over and took our drink order. COFFEE ☕ My sister-in-law ordered an egg and bacon breakfast sandwich and I ordered a toasted bagel with cream cheese, turkey bacon (which I've never had before), home fries which I shared with my sister-in-law, and a bowl of oatmeal with fresh strawberries. Everything was delicious! And for never having turkey bacon before, I couldn't tell that it wasn't real bacon! Tasted just like bacon! I had to share some with my sister-in-law to get her opinion. She liked it as well. The only thing that I didn't like was that the fresh strawberries on my oatmeal we're not fresh strawberries. But all in all it was a great meal.

Cons: Coffee was translucent watery and weak. Scram eggs were also watery. Ordered the sausage gravy and biscuits...one biscuit halved😔 Boyfriend ordered ham eggs and blueberry pancakes. Ham was definitely from the can. PROS: food was hot, no wait to be seated service was great, home fries were amazing, gravy from the sausage/ bis was delicious!!!!

I'm not sure what the hype is about this diner. I had breakfast there. The food was good. Prices are reasonable. To many people for only 2 waitresses. It looks like they gave up trying to be even somewhat pleasant to NEW customers. Very difficult to get attention to order,or refill on coffee,one particular waitress was just hanging around with her back turned to the counter. I don't know what that was about. Clientele is mostly elderly. Only 2 handicapped parking spaces. They need more because most were with canes. I will give them another chance,next time during lunch. Maybe it won't be so crowded and more manageable for the service people.

I'm addicted! My son and I eat here, for breakfast. Home fries are made fresh and cooked in some Magical way that simply astounds me at a level I've never felt before. Golden brown and crunchy say cook well trust me. Eggs always perfect. Bacon crispy meaty perfect, my overgrown son helps me with the pancakes which, by that time we hung our heads in shame and I drank the rest of my "came with the meal" fking awesome coffee all for "nowadays" 10 bucks. The home fries were understandablely extra lol It's so good really and the people are professional and courteous . Been in business forever. Breakfast Big +☕x bucks I ate there today and they were locking up when we noticed and in our focus on leaving I forgot to leave a tip 😂 But you know it's cool cause I'll be back
