Amigo Juan

I believe that might have been the worst experience at a Mexican food place ever. Food was overpriced for what I got and just not good. They have a bar so get a couple drinks in you before you eat or if you have the corona you should be good . Either bad management or maybe it was every employee was under the age of 21 I do not know . This was my full nachos for $12 minus a couple chips. It had mushrooms and the meat was brisket and I got enough brisket on all my nachos to maybe put on a cracker so there is that .

Love the New Boston Amigo Juan's. It's been a staple for Mexican food for.my family for years. I love the Chimichangas there and my wife loves the cheese or chicken enchiladas. The salsa is pretty flavorful and the chips are plenty. I have a recent shellfish allergy and the wait staff and the cooks made sure they cleaned the grill off and made a note on my ticket. I ate with no issue she other day and I was so ecstatic for that help. The only reason it's not 5 star is the decor is a bit dates along with the menus. I know that's a minor thing but presentation is key to a restaurant. They do have a pretty good stocked bar on hand as well if you are looking for that. The food is not our of this world but neither are the prices. It is good, hot, fast and tasty and isn't that what we look for. Give them a try.

The food was fast and the service was friendly. The margarita was strong. The bathrooms were clean! It was a great place to stop for lunch on our way home. Our 12 year old granddaughter really enjoyed the rice bowl with the chicken. Queso dip was very tasty and the chips were nice and thin. The taco salad was huge.

Wow! What a disaster. This used to be our favorite. The last three trips have been progressively worse. Tonight was the last straw.. we won't be back! The restaurant was filthy, the chips were burnt, the salsa had no flavor, nor did the white queso. We didn't make it past that because as we browsed the menu, you could feel the grime on the menu. As we left, the manager was hiding in the corner playing on his phone and didn't care that a table that was just seated was leaving.

not the best Mexican food I’ve ever had but certainly not the worst. Even though the choices are pretty slim for new Boston Texas this could be a lot better. The enchiladas were semi-cheesy and the fajitas were semi good. The decor was certainly bright and appealing but the staff was less than attentive and hard to find when you were out of a drink or needed something.
