When we first pulled up to Crescent Sushi for the first time, we were a bit skeptical as there weren't many cars in the lot. We decided to give it a try and I'm so glad we did. The server/host is incredibly friendly, soft spoken, but polite.
While he is still learning english, we thought he did a great job taking our orders and making recommendations. I ordered the Yellow Coconut Curry with Chicken and a side of steamed white rice. My husband ordered the Pad Thai. Neither of us had any complaints. The server stopped by before we left and encouraged us to provide feedback. He explained he is new to America and really wants his guests to enjoy their meals. He was also candid that they don't currently have a large staff so they are trying to find better means to accomodate and serve multiple people and tables, when busy.
I think people need to be a little more patient and understanding when it comes to dining at establishments, especially authentic Asian eateries such as Crescent Sushi, that are operated by people from other countries that are just trying their best to serve the local community.
All in all, we really enjoy dining here and plan to continue doing so. It's a great little Gem that we feel will only get better with time.

Ordered Pad Thai takeout. The Pad Thai was very good but lacked any spiciness. Would be nice if they offered a choice for spicy. Overall it was very good.

Best sushi in New Bern! It is always so fresh everytime I visit. Extensive menu with great quality food. Service can be a little slow, they need to hire more waitstaff. The one server I have had is very polite.

Had the pineapple fried rice which was amazing! Husband had Pad Thai which was equally as good. No complaints. We will be back for sure.

Just finished eating here the service was amazing, the food was amazing overall great experience. I got the beef noodles, streamed dumplings, and crab sushi roll. I didn't realize how big the portion was going to be for the beef noodles and wasn't able to finish it. But needless to say I'll be having leftovers for dinner and will be coming back for more.

We were pleasantly surprised to find that the newest owner has really made improvements. The menu is extensive, the food was fresh and delicious, and the Sushi was the best I have had in New Bern!!!

This is my second visit. I got Pineapple fried rice with steak this time, which was a very nice portion. It was colorful, flavorful, and filling. The waitstaff is excellent at this place. I had enough to take a home and enjoy a few more times. The service is exemplary. Go check them out! You will not be disappointed.

Food and service were wonderful. This place has great vegetarian options. The server was so sweet. He got my sister to go with a two instead of a three on spiciness for her green curry, but when it was still a little too spicy, he offered to have the kitchen remake it for free with less spice (she refused, because it was still really good). I will be going back.

Just had the Roti, Pork Shumi, Chicken Pad See Ew, and the Steak Drunken Noodles for dinner tonight and I just have to say it was really good! I like Thai Angel but I think I found my new Thai spot. The gentleman who worked tonight was very nice and even helped me open to he door as I was carrying my food.

Thai food is my favorite food out of all! Let me tell you that this place brings a Thai experience like no other. The food was perfect and for the price they give you A LOT! The service was outstanding with the server asking us tons of questions. Constantly asking if we need anything and if our food tasted good. He asked if there was anything wrong with the food or if we would have liked something different. Luckily everything was perfect and outstanding and we made sure he knew it! I have to use a cane to walk and my wife was carrying our child so the server even brought our leftovers out to the truck for us. Again thank you to all the employees. everyone tell your friends and family to come eat here and I am sure you will have just as amazing of an experience as us!
