We both had the loaded baked potato. Excellent food, service, and environment. I highly recommend this place if you ever find yourself in Navarre, Florida's hidden paradise.
Ribs were falling off the bone! Service was exceptional & very friendly! Nice local place. Don’t pass it up!
I love this place! I eat here about once a week and it is always delicious. They have so many options and the price is affordable. Great owners and staff and the place is always super clean. Best BBQ in Navarre!
We visited The Rib Shack while on family vacation. The service was AMAZING! Our waitress was so sweet with our kids! Brought them paper and some colors to occupy their time while we waited a short wait for our food. She met all of our needs and answered questions about the sauces and menu with ease! At the end of our visit, the owner came out and talked with the kids and gave our 2 yr old a little piggy from the top of his cooler! You could tell they were genuinely nice people and I'm so thankful we took our business there!
Note that as of Oct. 1, 2017, the hours have been shortened to 10:30 AM to 8 PM. We went on a slow Sunday night and the young guys staffing the place were friendly and welcoming.
Half chicken was very tender. Baked beans were on the sweet side, as we had been advised when ordering. Fried green beans were piping hot and fresh-tasting. Sweet potato fries also were hot and crisp, served with a sweet dipping sauce. No draft beer or craft/IPA, just Bud etc.
At first I thought it was a little pricey. But once we received our food, it was well worth the price. Full slab of ribs, half chicken, pulled pork, burgers, brisket, everything tasted amazing. We'll be back, definitely.
For over four years we've enjoyed this amazing bbq and we still keep coming back. Always the most amazing pleasant service and quick cook time.
We visited with a party of seven on a weeknight. We got seats right away and were served drinks almost immediately. The food was good - especially the smoked potatoes and fried pickles! It was a little salty and the sauce is vinegar-heavy, but we all enjoyed our meals. I thought the kids meals were huge portions at a good price.
This place was amazing. Great place to sit down and eat with awesome customer service and a very friendly owner. Loved how the owner came out to talk to customers. Food was amazing and the sweet potato fries and dipping sauce were a perfect pair. Pulled pork was amazing and prices were very reasonable.
The food was Heavenly! The ribs were awesome (hence the name) the servers were great, and the atmosphere is excellent. The sides are good. They have a lot of different food options. The drinks were also good.
Finished work early and stopped in for a late lunch. It was a good choice. The Rib Shack has good ribs! I honestly feel like most restaurants in Navarre are over priced tourist traps, but in this case the food was actually good so the price didn't much matter to me. Ribs were tender and flavorful, the beans where sweet and savory, and the fries were fries. All good overall.
The gentleman working the kitchen and the young man taking my order where both pretty cool. For a second, a miscommunication made it seem like I'd have to wait an additional 30 min for my to go order. But the cashier offered a refund right before the chef quickly cleared it up, got my order done quickly, and promptly announced "order up." I appreciated the professionalism. The chef (who I assumed was an owner. I don't know.) came up to the front and had a quick conversation with me about our jobs in the military. I left feeling welcome.
It's no longer the Rib Shack. I'm from out of state and always stop in for 1/2 a chicken and misery slaw.
They no longer have the misery slaw. The chicken was very good, the sides are just average.
So if you want the old Rib Shack sides, you ain't getting it!
