What a find!! Stumbled in for dinner... Delicious!!. Had the colossal shrimp at the recommendation of a really polite staff member, truly best fried shrimp we have had. Everyone in our group enjoyed their meal. The entire experience did not disappoint. The calamari was fresh and really good. Would highly recommend trying the fish of the day, we had the wahoo it was so good. Planning another dinner at Scooters fish house before we leave.
This place was such a surprise. Stopped here to get a bite to eat when traveling to Navarre Beach for a day of fun. Best fried shrimp I've had! The Snapper was delicious!!! The hushpuppies are on point. You get a lot of food for the price. I live about an hour and a half from this place and I can't wait to make another trip just to eat here again! Amazing food!
They know how to make food! Best flavors around. We brought in fresh black snapper fillets and they grilled them into a dinner. Outstanding! The kids fish is second to none; fresh, flakey and well made. Fish tacos too!

Edit: Came back on our last day because there wasn’t any food anywhere near as good as Scooters. For lunch I had the platter with grilled fish, shrimp and fried oysters. My wife had the bang bang shrimp. Son had the kids fish. Amazing. Everything is noticeably fresh. The “grilled” items are actually grilled unlike other restaurants. We will be coming back tonight for dinner.
Something so petty, but their tea is actually fresh brewed and not over sweetened. I couldn’t be more happy
Absolutely one of the best meals we've had, since our arrival this past Sunday! Seriously delicious! I had the bang-bang chicken, baked beans and onion strings; my husband had tacos (fish and bang-bang shrimp & grilled shrimp). Highly recommend!
Great customer service! It is counter service but the person taking our order was extremely helpful with ordering. It was our first time here and there are a lot of options to ordering and customizing what you prefer. I like my fries extra crispy and they did that for me but didn’t delay our food for it. They brought the fries out a few min later. The food was really good and the portions are plenty! My husband got Mahi Mahi, fried onions and coleslaw. I got pick 2 and had grilled chicken, bang bang shrimp, fries and baked beans. The meals come with 2 hush puppies so you don’t have to order those as a side. Great food, customer service and was easy. We will definitely visit again when we are in town!

It is not often I give a five-star review, however I have always been met with smiles, helpful employees, great food, a clean environment, and great interactions with the staff. I have yet to have anything bad here, and everything on the menu is delicious.
I have sampled almost everything on it. Even the sweet tea / unsweet tea has good flavor. Service is fast as long as they are not overwhelmed with people, the food is cooked properly, plentiful, and absolutely delicious. I'm not certain I would pay $30 for the platter, because it is about the same size as the dinner plus a fillet of fish (I forget if it was some form of whitefish or not) for an extra $15 vs the popcorn shrimp and similar dinner plates.
If you like grits, the cheese grits are slightly spicy but barely. Highly recommend those as well as the barbecue beans being phenomenal. They taste like something I would have at an actual barbecue. I will definitely be back and this is my third visit now, I believe. Very consistent place, though it can get crowded during touristy months and no business goes without suffering a little when they are overrun. Once again, highly recommend!
I visited for a day trip down from south Mississippi and wanted a hole- in- the- wall atmosphere and place to eat. My family was not disappointed. The grilled shrimp, fried shrimp, mahi mahi and just everything was so wonderful. The bay scallops were great and we absolutely enjoyed ourselves. I lived in Wakulla county for 13 years and know what local seafood is and that place knocks the tastes and quality out of the park. Thanks again!

The food is fresh and tasty, the restaurant is extremely clean. No greasy smell of some other restaurants. I'm not big on the picnic table experience, but the food is as good as you can find in the area. Terrific hush puppies and tacos too.
This is a great little restaurant I got fish tacos and gumbo.
One taco was flounder which it was fried next time I will do grilled.
And I got a grilled shrimp taco which was on point. The gumbo was excellent hardly any rice which is the way I like it a very rich dark brew could’ve used a little bit more tomatoes but that’s just me personally.
I had them put the coleslaw on the side for the tacos only because I’m not coleslaw friendly but my order was correct in every way staff was friendly and great!
And yes they have the best tea that I have had in forever you can’t see through it!
I had read some different reviews and I decided to give it a chance I don’t know what other people are talking about but I do know seafood and I do know gumbo and my meal was excellent!
So if you’re in the area give them a try because….. you can!
I'm sure most people come for the fried seafood, I would go back just for the cheesy grits. Honestly, they are awesome. The fried fish was really good too. Very casual atmosphere, order at the counter and they call your number when the food is ready.

The food which to me is number 1 wherever I go was excellent. There is nothing to complain about. We had the sampler with a little of everything. Everything was good. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The tables were like picnic tables but inside. Drinks from paper cups. It's not a fancy place, but who cares when the food is fantastic. I have gone fancy places where the food was junk. I am going back for the shrimp tacos. I will return lord willing.
Really great food! I enjoyed three tacos (fish, grilled shrimp and bang bang shrimp. Delightful! Also had onion strings as well. They were fantastic. My wife ordered the bang bang chicken with baked beans and onion strings. It was great. The people were very nice, too. Great experience.
