Huddle House

Stopped in for Sunday breakfast before getting on the road. The place was packed and they seemed to be shorthanded. I only saw one cook. The waitresses were doing the best they could taking care of their tables. They moved fast and checked in often to see if we needed anything. It took about an hour to get our food. My omelet was good. The only thing I didn't care for was the cheese they used. The peach tea was the best I have had. The biscuit was delicious. The apple-smoked bacon was cooked just the way I liked it. Husband had the French toast with eggs and sausage. He said it was very good. The restaurant is small.

Messed up our order. Waited for a hour to get the food and the whole family couldn't eat together food come out at completely different times. Everyone else got the food before us and they came in way after us. Food was nasty. I mean if u can mess up hash browns, come on that's bad way over cooked. Service sucked bad. I will stick to my waffle house for a meal next time.

Food was good BUT the service was horrible. The waitress was awful. From the time we got there she had an attitude and took 20 min to take our order and it was not crazy and there were other waitresses. She didn’t write down our order so of course she didn’t remember it and had to come back twice to ask. Food didn’t come out together but separate. So when we were finished with what she had brought to leave then part of order was brought. Didn’t brig rest of my order and when she had to ask again what I ordered she said she would bring it. Never did get the rest. She said they could not make the pancake. She did take it off ticket though. I know it sounds petty but if you can’t remember, write it down. Rbf does not help costumer service especially if I wasn’t anything but nice (I work healthcare so I understand working in public).

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! First of all it took over 1 hour to receive our food. Never had a refill for any drinks. Our waitress was standing over the grill TEXTING the entire time with gloves on. Phone in one hand and shaking a skillet in the other. Another waitress touching her phone then touching the bread. With NO GLOVES. The health department needs to shut this place down. The whole kitchen is trashed. WHERE IS THE OWNER?! Whoever owns this place needs to stop in and see how awful this place is and the employees who are working behind the counter. Disgusting, unsanitary conditions. Employees slipping in and out of the back room door because there is trash and grease all over the floors that looks to have not been cleaned up in weeks.

Food was decent and reasonable but service today was horrible. Waitress warned us there would be a wait which was fine After waiting over 90 minutes for our food and watching 3 other tables that came in 30 minutes after us get their food we asked waitress and she told us it would be 6 more tickets ahead of us and that she failed to put our order in. Other patrons were complaing on our behalf. In total it took 2 1/2 hours just to get food. As someonwho has worked in restuarants over 20 years this was unacceptable. IThey were messy food and drinks were left spilled on floor and left.

Our waitress was just a politely nasty person. Asked for orange juice, got it in a dirty glass. Then order the food got part of the order then 20 mins the other part of the order came. Still Didn't even recieve my biskets. She claimed to gave a discount for the horrible way she treated us she discounted us a quarter🤬🤬🤬🤬 will not be going back anytime soon hated it
