Best food I had in Nashville...the Pennsylvania was awesome and the gumbo was out of this world. Good price on beers and a good selection.
Some of the best buffalo wings I've had in west nashville. Good tater tots and club sandwich as well. And you gotta stop by during happy hour. 🖒
I came here by myself and left some hours later knowing a handful of people I hadn't known before - and it wasn't because of Nations Bar and Grill but it was encouraged by the conducive environment and ambiance of Nations Bar and Grill.
It's very casual, very friendly, very welcoming and just plain fun. Ever Saturday is bluegrass music and on this particular occasion they put 4 burn barrels in the back lot and had fire 🔥 while the band played, the people danced, strangers became acquainted, and friends reconnected.
Drinks were good, music was great, and from what I heard they have really delicious food, as well but all I had was the giant soft pretzel 🥨 and it was honestly the largest soft pretzel I'd ever seen.
Overall, coming here was a fun and memorable experience I couldn't see having many other places in Nashville or anywhere for that matter. I recommend it.
Cool little dive bar off the grid with some cool locals. Gives off the vibe of an after 5 o'clock hard blue collar working crowd who may look a little rough around the edges but underneath they are all great people. All are welcome at Nations! If you go, make sure you check out the covered patio around back. Most wouldn't know it was there as it's mostly hidden and hard to see from the street! Great place!
Nations is such a cool place, the space is clean, lively, and fun and the service awesome. The food was good, but not great. Chicken tenders were a bit over done and lacking some general flavor but overall the vibe is 👍🏻
This is a great neighborhood bar that still does things the way they should be despite everything around it becoming modernized. The bartenders are awesome, the food is really good, the atmosphere is very comfortable, and lots of screens to catch the games. We don't smoke but we noticed that they did have a section for smokers that was "outside" but protected from the elements.
Burger was cooked to perfection and the side cut potato fries, amazing! Everyone was friendly and my Gimlet hit the spot. Thank you “ Nations” for making this transplant from NOLA feel a bit of home away from home❤️
Found this place on Google while in the area for weekend and decided to give it a try!! First, the welcoming vibe was outstanding !! Our server was amazing from recommending drinks and entrees to the best local establishments to visit away from the Broadway area. Second, the food was KILLER and affordable!! The queso tots were totally the perfect food for lunch after a night out drinking the night before! My chili burger was out of this world, and the burros was bigger than my husbands hands. This place is a perfect example Of why not to judge a book by its cover! Stop in for a visit, you will not regret it!
It is a long drive for me to get to the Nation's, but I will do it on Fridays as thet is Bean Roll day. The Gold Rush was a much loved hole in the wall in Nashville until the owners wanted to sell more of Nashvilles history. The cook that kept the bean roll going serves them up on Fridays.
Clientele is super friendly. One of my favorite patrons is this dude from Ohio that’s taller than he looks. Gave me some great mortgage advice. Daily specials will curl your toes harder than Ron Jeremy in the 80’s. Only downside is there’s a no dog policy, so I’m not sure why there’s so many dudes in flip flops. I don’t know. You do you boo.
Toto out. Peace dawg.
They have beanrolls on Fridays. Which excites my mother. Cause of The Gold Rush, where I learned to play darts when I was 10. It's super tiny inside. Enjoy.
Good little dive bar, great staff would of scored higher but toilets were out of service and no point selling beer if there is no where to get rid of it.
