Sometimes the food takes a few minutes to come out, but that’s how you know it’s always fresh! The food at this location is always great and the worker that usually runs the drive through m-f around lunch is always nice!
If you appreciate great work ethics and job dedication. You have to stop into this store. Travel through the area around 5:00pm today and never been to a Captain D’s before. My wife and I was greeted by the front end staff, he was busy with the drive through but never break contact to us, just to let us know that he will attend to us. We needed time to view the menu, so it worked out perfectly. If he is not already the store manager, he should be. And the food came out just right. Having great employees and great food have to be the dreams of small business owners.

Just good old greasy food...but the SHINING STAR is the lady at the drive thru window!! She's just so cheerful and happy every single time I visit your store!
Give her a RAISE so you don't Lose her she's that pleasant and professional!!

The food was hot and super fresh cooked crispy and yet flaky hot and moist inside exactly as it should be would be a perfect five star but they are extremely slow to the drive-thru
Fish is always fresh and good. Hushpuppies must be very fresh to be good, but they are not always fresh as the fish is.
W seafood, fish was FRESH AND HOT very good crust and honestly pretty fast for the normal experience at the drive through!
Food is good. Service is good, but they are busy. Drive thru can be a bit of a wait.
I will say it's not the fish of the "old days", but I still enjoy it.
WOW! What have you done? Something has changed, I am floored. My grilled fish with grilled shrimp (excellent grill flavor) was SO delicious. If I close my eyes, I imagine I'm at the coast, eating at a dockside restaurant. No fishy flavor at all, cooked perfectly. My husbands "Southern Style Dinner" was also perfect, not greasy and full of flavor. Even the sides, all of them, even the bread, were delicious! I will spread the word, you can be sure of that! This was only the 2nd time I've gotten food from here in ~5 years of living in Bellevue & I only did so bc my friend offered to buy me dinner. While the 1st time I ate there 3 years ago was mediocre to poor, in contrast this experience was much, much better! =) The hushpuppies were very fresh/hot & tasty, chicken was good & so was the mac'n'cheese & corn on the cob! This was even more impressive considering that we went thru their drive-thru a mere 10min prior to close. The initial guy employee at the window was adequately polite (could have been more friendly, but that's okay bc he seemed a lil stressed out since another employee, that sounded like a managerof some sort, was audibly harassing him to do other things while he was still trying to finish up taking our coupons & payment--&that was inappropriate/unprofessional on the manager's part imo!). The girl after him who ended up giving us our food was very nice and loaded up us with plenty of sauces and condiments. Overall, it was a good experience. Definitely take any mailed coupons with you bc you can save a decent amt of money on your meals with them!

Location: Hwy 70-S in Bellevue. Reliable fast-food "seafood". We go once every few weeks. Reasonable prices. Plenty of parking plus a drive-through. Dining room has booths and tables (bistro height and regular) and high chairs are available. I recently tried their grilled crab cakes which are being promoted in ads, and was disappointed; they were thin and salty. The tilapia and the salmon have always been good, with generous portions. I also like their original "claim to fame", their batter-fried fish filets (cod?). Only had one bad experience but it was a doozy: Went through the drive-through at about 15 minutes before closing and got the batter-fried filets. The batter and the fish seemed overdone but everything tasted OK. Later that night, I got violently ill. All I can think of was that they nay have put a lot of things under heat lamps earlier in the evening and were maybe serving things that should have discarded for freshly prepared. So no more Captain D's for me too close to closing, but we've gone back several time for lunch since then with no problems,at all, and I'm sure we'll continue to go back.
