Might've found my favorite restaurant in Nashville. Do not come here expecting diner-sized portions of food. This is not that kind of restaurant. Come here for a tasting experience. Dishes are served creatively with flavors and ingredients you might not have thought of before. I love casual places that serve excellent, fine food. Drinks are also great here but my other favorite is the atmosphere -- especially the playlist. I'd love to check out the chef's Spotify mixes one day.

From start to finish our meal was fabulous. Our waiter Alex was super helpful in figuring out which items were gluten-free. The stand outs to me were the composed apple, hen, and the homemade dessert.

We went during restaurant week with a pre made menu. I highly recommend their protein dishes. The beef tartare and the meatballs were the highlight of the night.

Chef RJ does an outstanding job keeping the 3+ hour tasting experience at the Secret Society counter fun, delicious, and filled with surprises. We'll be back.

Food was absolutely amazing, out of the box with twists on what seem like straight forward foods. Server was knowledgeable on all of the food options and did a great job providing an even sell on what we should try. Also, if you want to try a bit of everything, go during the happy hour, best happy hour menu I've ever seen.

Let me first start by saying that I have been a fan of Saint Stephen since they opened last year. As a resident of Germantown and an avid explorer of food based experiences, I was thrilled to have Chef RJ join the local family. Tonight, we dined with Chef at Saint Stephen to thank the future father in law for his hard work and to celebrate my fiancé for expanding her footprint in Germantown. As the owner of ABEDNEGO, she has seen the neighborhood grow and evolve; Saint Stephen is one of the major highlights of said evolution. Tonight, we were greeted with a bottle of champagne to begin our celebration. Each cocktail was expertly crafted - you can’t go wrong. While everything looked delicious, we kept things “low key” by ordering the StS Burger and Chicken Schnitzel. If these dishes provide indication of what to expect, order EVERYTHING. Burger is easily top 5 in Nashville. Cooked to perfection and balanced in flavor from the black garlic aioli to the special sauce. The Chicken Schnitzel expands your palette with the foie aioli and green tomatoes. After a near religious experience courtesy of Chef RJ’s dinner course, we truly were swept off our feet with dessert. The goat cheese cheesecake was delicate and rich. As a cheesecake fanatic, I can tell you this is a staple for me. The pecan pie tart...do it. It had all the elements you desire from pecan pie, yet more accessible as a tart. With the bold and traditional flavors of pecan, paired with the flaky crust, I could have eaten an entire pie and had zero regrets. I can only give you one piece of lasting advice if you have made it this far - book your reservation now. Or show up without one and still be wowed. Happy hour is fantastic to add to the appeal of this restaurant. Chef RJ, thank you.

Best spot in germantown for food and/or drinks. Try the Saturday street food or go for dinner. Prix fixe menu is an excellent way to sample across the great food.

Delicious food, experimental and bold - I agree that the portions are smallish compared to what you might expect when ordering a la carte, so go in prepared for that, and know that you’re going to have an EXPERIENCE!

I've been here twice. Everything I've had has been delicious. The hamachi is excellent, one of the most interesting raw fish dishes I've had anywhere, let alone Nashville. The lamb rib was also incredible. Highly recommended!

Amazing! We had such a wonderful time and the meal was outstanding! There were so many courses that we lost count and each was so unique and original. The ingredients and layers of flavor and texture were artfully presented and so delicious. The food was everything we had hoped and more but we were truly surprised by what a warm and fun character Chef RJ is. It was such a treat to get to watch him prepare our food and interact with him for the whole 3 1/2 hour experience. The tasting menu at the counter was so much fun and a special treat not to be missed. The service was awesome! We will be back!!!!
