This is a place they you must visit. The employees are nice and the food is amazing.
You will not find a better place for lunch in Nashville!!!!! Ever!! Eat it while you can!
We sat at the bar, where Taylor took great care of us. Just the right amount of attention and conversation. Service was outstanding, with brief explanations of what we were getting as newcomers to this faithful, if not improved, version of the Belmont mainstay. We started out with the chicken and shrimp dumplings and lettuce wraps, the latter of which was the highlight. The stuffed rice ball was flash fried perfectly to keep everything inside moist, yet the outside crispy. Lastly, we shared an order of the Hatyai Thai Fried Chicken, which lived up to the hype. Tender, moist, and crispy without being greasy. And a great flavor complimented nicely by the slightly sweet cucumber salad. Overall, it is a great experience we'll likely duplicate in the future. Can't wait to explore more of the menu.
Here is the first impression from a Thai woman who was born and raised in Thailand for 26 years. This steam table lunch is typically a Thai "Khao Kang" which you can find it anywhere in Thailand. Mostly serves in canteen at work, school, and outdoor/indoor food court. I specifically picked the most common dish like Green Curry and Ginger Beef, and Kanomjeeb (Shumai). Well, it hit the spot! I got a good portion from what I ordered. It tasted pretty authentic to me but the green curry was weak. They didn't put enough spice and curry paste in it. I understand that it has to be that way so people who cannot eat spicy food can eat it. The decoration is screaming THAILAND including the playlist! All the songs were from the 70s. My mom would love this place lol Overall, it was pretty good. Would I be back? I am not sure. I expectd more from the price I paid at the restaurant, you know? I might come back to try their dinner menu and see how it goes :)
YUM!!!! I had an incredible meal at International Market and was saying ‘omg this is so good’ every few minutes. It was delicious, unique and creative, and an overall 10 out of 10 experience.
This was my first time eating there. Cool to learn it’s been around since 1975 and is a family operation!
For 2 people we got:
- Mee Krob Sweet & Sour chicken
- Mr. Aaron’s Garlic Noodles
- Red Curry Corn Ribs
My favorite was the sweet & sour chicken. The corn ribs were UNIQUE. Very tasty and unlike anything I’d seen before!
We also splurged for the Chinese churros which were delicious. This was a LOT of food for 2 and we probably could’ve done without one dish, but it was just all so good!!
You have to make a reservation ahead of time for the Thai fried chicken which is supposed to be 🔥. I’m excited for that next time!
Also for bikers - there’s a BCycle right next to it so that’s convenient!
This place is always great, but I have to give a special shout-out to the vegetarian dish with sweet potato and peanuts, because it is a REVELATION. My whole family came (6 people), and everyone tried everything and agreed that dish won best pick for the evening - which may be the first time that they’ve ever picked a vegetarian dish over meat! My mom, who does not know how to work google, demanded that I go online and tell the restaurant how good that dish was. The pumpkin custard was also delicious, but man…I’ll be thinking about that sweet potato dish until I can get back. May have to order takeout soon!
The pad Thai is bomb here! Really awesome location owned by a great family! Be sure to coke for dinner and get some cocktails too! 10/10!
This place is so good, so fresh! They don't use soy sauce and that's OK with me since it makes so much more gluten-free. Thai lettuce wraps and spring rolls are really delish! I'll have to come back when the steam bar is open to get the seafood custard. It looked amazing!
Most authentic thai ive had in a decade! Everything was fresh and delicious. Even the condiments were fire! You can taste the superior quality of the meat and produce. Nothing overloaded with oil like most thai in Nashville. This is definitely going into my restaurant rotation!
Standout dishes:
Fried chicken
Salad
Dumplings
Spring rolls
Drunken noodles
Duck
Lamb Dan Dan doodles
Coffee cardamom ice cream
Coconut cake
“I could come back here every week for the rest of my life,” -My husband as he finished dessert
We’ve lived in Nashville for 9 years now and this just joined the list of “favorite restaurants.”
Let me start with the Smoked Tofu Pho. I eat A LOT of soup, and this one just topped my list. The flavor and texture combinations are second to none. Be sure to squeeze your entire lime slice into the soup. I even left the rest of the lime in the pho. It pairs so well with the smokiness of the dish. Truly a perfect dinner.
We also split the weekend special crab noodles and were unbelievably satisfied. Both dishes were great portions and easy for us to share.
Although we were very full by the end of dinner, we couldn’t resist ordering a dessert and went with the coconut sticky rice parfait. It was the perfect dessert for two - an elevated and perfect version of the classic Thai staple. The pandan and toasted coconut really shined through.
To top it all off, the menu is extensive (and great for vegetarians/pescatarians), the drink menu is filled with quality cocktails, the service was superb, the setting was gorgeous, and the music really set the mood. This place deserves nothing less than 5 stars.
Lynn, the bartender/server was amazing! Recommended and reinforced my love for drunken noodles! This place is chill, relaxed, and the food is outstanding! Spicy level adjustable with the 4 sauces! Fresh, hot and exciting! Absolutely filling and great price point! Drunken noodles with shrimp/chicken combo was just enough, but not heavy on the stomach! Will be back to try other options!
The Crab Fried Rice is hands down one of the best dishes I've had in the area. Great little place with fantastic service and interesting fare.
