Love this Shoney’s by the Nashville airport. I have visited this location for lunch buffet on several occasions but never had the chance to try breakfast buffet. Today is my day off so I decided to give it a try. 🙂 Came in about hour after opening. Place was welcoming and mellow atmosphere was something you don’t usually see as most places have that rush/stress feel. House was about 80% full. All food was delicious and fresh. French toast sticks and blueberry muffins extra delicious. Had ice tea (half and half) and it also tasted very fresh, every time my glass was half way I was asked if I care for another one. Overall I must say, I’m coming back. 5 stars ⭐️ from me is must!!

Nashville Airport area, TN. I’d come back just for Charles, our server. Nicest guy you’d ever meet, hustling to keep everything going, getting after the cook to get my egg white omelet out chop chop (do not order an egg white veggie omelet here, they’re too busy and there was too much oil in my veggies). I said, “I bet people come here just for you!” and he said, “Yeah, I expect that’s true. I been here 13 years.” He knew and warmly greeted a ton of customers. Well, he greeted everyone warmly. The rest of the staff were nice, too. The buffet included a few lunch items, too, like salad fixings and chicken my husband said ($13.99). It was a larger buffet than I remembered. The place was more modern and cheery than I remembered. Booths had worn seats. They’re using those handheld machines to order and pay on, those are a pain for servers to use because they malfunction often.

Hadn't been to Shoney's in years. Everything was upgraded and updated. We were pleasantly surprised by the low prices. Great value!
