Had an incredible experience here last night. Our experience started off by being greeted by our server, Chelsea. She was an absolute gem as a server. A perfect mix of being knowledgeable about the menu and establishment, being incredibly engaging in conversation, and allowing our table time to chat amongst ourselves. The most important part of my review is how excited I was to hear that Mop/Broom is Gluten Free aside from the breads on their sandwiches. This included having designated fryers for the French Fries! We started off our meal with the roasted cauliflower and chickpea chili cheese fries. Both are MUST HAVES. Our dinners ranged from the Italian sausage, pork chop, and half chicken. All of us were incredibly impressed with our meals. You were truly able to recognize the time the chefs took to prepare the menu to make sure that each bite had a mixture of unique flavors and fabulous textures. Our table ended our meal with the banana bread, which was a group favorite. I was incredibly happy the kitchen took my food allergies seriously and cannot wait for my next experience here! The entire staff was wonderful and I will be requesting Chelsea again the next time I go - she is a diamond!

Trendy, cute, instagram worthy! The food was good-favorites were the juicy chicken wings with pineapple and brown sugar glaze and the chocolate slab cake with crispies and vanilla ice cream. The spaghetti squash was ok-lots of great textures (charred chickpeas, cashew sd greens) but it needed a flavorful sauce. Open kitchen, modern furniture and beautiful mural. I would love to return for drinks at the bar or outdoor seating. Kids menu also available!

I've been wanting to check this place out for a month or so and was hoping it was going to be great as it appeared through the instagram lens (their IG game is strong…but I was a little hesitant to go last night since it was about an hour before closing time. I'm would venture to say that we all have a story or two of how the service, vibes, food quality, and overall experience at a lot of places can tend to dwindle pretty quickly as it gets closer and closer to closing time. I decided to roll the dice though... and I'm glad I did. I believe it can be a telling test of genuine hospitality of how a customer is treated when they end up being one the last customers of the evening (and maybe the staff was hoping to get out early for once....but then you had to show up). That being said, the experience that I received at Mop/Broom was fantastic. The service was spot on. I was met with a smile at the door and opted to sit at the large, beautiful bar. The bartender told me a little bit about the food and drink menu and was able to answer my questions about some of the beers and food with impressive depth and detail. I could write a whole bunch more about how and why it was so great and the foods I tasted and how delicious they were, but no need to bore you with that…. The short of it is I had a great meal, received fantastic service, and a wonderful experience even though it was the most vulnerable time for many restaurants, during the last hour of service. Thank You Janelle and Ann! I can't wait to return, bring friends, and spread the good word about Mop/Broom Mess Hall.

Absolutely one of my favorite places in Germantown. Not overpriced. High quality food. Great environment. Look at the pics.

Enjoyed the look and history of the building. The wine and drink list is nice. Very open layout and seating. Open kitchen area so you can see the chef at work.

Mop/Broom is working with cube shaped ice. All of their cubes had a hole through the middle. I'm guessing the tray/form they use causes that but it does serve as a cooling tunnel for your beverage, which is nice. Food was good, crispy fries and a juicy burger. Red Dragon wings were great!

I really loved this restaurant. The food was delicious, the service and atmosphere were both top notch. I highly recommend it.

I can't say enough great things about my experience here. We went on a Monday night and the atmosphere still felt lively without the music being insanely loud (which unfortunately seems like the norm here in Nashville, but I like actually being able to talk to the people I'm with). We sat at the counter where you can watch the chefs preparing your food, and were so happy to see the care and attention the chefs put into each and every dish. The food we had was OUTSTANDING. Definitely the most flavorful and fun meal I've had in Nashville to date. The chili was so rich and full of flavor, the grilled squash appetizer was unexpectedly amazing-that grill, and it's operator chef Sal, are sent directly from god to impart massive doses of flavor to human beings. For our entrees we had the most juicy chicken I've ever been served, the BBQ sauce they used was next level, and a really really cool and interesting twist on pork chop (over house made kimchi, rustic chopped pork, and some fun crispy rice for texture). There was absolutely nothing boring or conventional about this meal, I'm so happy I live a block away and will be back as much as humanly possible. Oh, and the cocktail wine and beer list was awesome-the wine list in particular had a lot of fun varietals that you don't see on by the glass lists often, and complemented the food wonderfully. The cocktails were playful and simple, and again, a perfect match for the food. Cannot recommend enough, everyone should dine here at least once.

Delicious food. Something for everyone, but the menu is limited so look online first. The kale junk salad is delightfully light and tasty. The Navy bean soup's flavor is memorable and the mixed drinks are thoughtfully crafted. The burgers also looked and smelled amazing. Table of 4 all enjoyed their food and left happy. The restaurant also has a unique way to welcome children. They have buckets of toys which vary in type dependent on the age and gender. One table had a bucket of dolls, another crayons and memory cards. This restaurant is fantastic.

My new favorite spot in town, we've already been twice since they opened! Tandy and his team are turning out high level cooking at nice price. BBQ Chicken is fantastic grilled over charcoal, the summer squash dish was deceptively simple but absolutely delicious and the special tostada with white beans was great! Thanks for a great 2 meals, we'll be back soon!
