I came on a weekday but this place was such a friendly, accepting queer bar. So many events and nightlife here, I was mind blown. I will definitely be stopping by here next time I’m on vacation. Even made some friends!! Much love from Indy for making my time in Nashville even more fun.
I took some girls for brunch on Sunday morning around 10:30. We were able to have our choice of seats but by noon it was a packed house. The atmosphere was great, the staff so friendly and the food was delicious! I ordered the paw paw burrito, smothered in queso and it was fantastic. This is a hidden gem when it comes to brunch. I’m afraid to over recommend for fear of being too busy but I feel the need to share some love. I will definitely be back.
A lesbian bar that has actually survived is a true cherished relic these days! We have never had an issue finding parking or getting great service at this spot. I love that you get a sense of community and history of the place right when you step in the door. The bartender was very friendly and helpful. They also serve food and I heard good things, but have not tried it yet. The drinks were a great price and had a strong kick. We will be back and recommend it to friends, make sure you check their instagram for all their events. We will be back to try brunch and watch a drag show for sure. The overall feel of the bar is a unique divey bar meets relaxed local spot where everyone is welcomed.
I've been here a couple times now and had two fairly different experiences. Don't get me wrong the vibe is great, bartenders are lovely. Karaoke and drag is fun.
The first time was for a drag show and i really enjoyed myself even though I was alone
The second time I went bc I felt like some karaoke after hitting up canvas and there were so many obviously straight people there that I was uncomfortable being there as a gay man and ended up leaving before my song came up
Inclusion is awesome and it's great that we live in a city where straight people feel comfortable hanging out in bars like this but there comes a point where it doesn't feel like a queer bar anymore
I don't really know that anything can or should be done about it I just felt like I should leave a review as a warning to anyone expecting a purely lesbian or queer experience
Went alone on a Saturday evening, and even though I'm a socially anxious wreck, everyone was SO, SO WELCOMING!!!
Drinks and food came out quick (philly steak fries were superb) and the bartender came up with a delicious cocktail when I asked what's good.
The bar got PACKED for karaoke and it was a blast! You can really feel the love and community here. 🌈
Can't wait to come back!
We loved the food AND drinks! We can’t wait to come back. The fried pickles were perfect! The potatoes were even seasoned to perfection. French toast was delicious too.
Super comfortable with a friendly vibe. We went mid week so a lot of locals. The owners were there and were awesome. We had such a good time we stayed until they closed!
Good Atmosphere, friendly people, free parking areas along street.
Stopped in for a fundraiser brunch. The food selection is fairly slim for anyone of the vegetarian persuasion, but I knew that ahead of time. The bloody mary, however, was to DIE for! Seriously so good and the prices were great compared to other places in Nashville. Service was also awesome and friendly, and parking was easy.
Came here during my trip to nashville with my boyfriend and it was absolutely fantastic! Friendly service and delicious food and drinks. Recommend to anybody dropping by the area!
