Creative dishes and good flavor. Always quick service and tasty items. They have their own style and flavor which I enjoy but notice friends and people try to compare to traditional Mexican restaurants. I do wish taco bowl wasn’t so expensive to include meat. I’ve enjoyed many other dishes tacos, tamales, and other plates offered. The inside is cozy. The tamarind margarita is 🔥 I enjoy the cucumber option as well.
This Little restaurant in a strip mall was a pleasant surprise! Authentic Mexican food was delicious. Hospitality off the charts. Will definitely frequent this place.
This is an amazing date night place if you're looking for good food, quick service and the right price. We come here often when we want a good drink and delicious food. The place is cozy and has a more dimly lit atmosphere, making it perfect for conversation and laughs.
This was an unexpected surprise! We don't get to Donelson often, and we chose Habanero Grill based on a little quick research. Loved it! It's an unassuming little spot, but the food is really good. I'm a fan of mole, and always happy to see it on a menu. It was a good sauce. Everything we had was good.
I also appreciate when a Mexican restaurant isnt afraid to out a little heat in the salsa, especially when the name is Habanero Grill. It didnt disappoint.
We started with the ceviche. I had enchiladas, my wife had tamales, and our guest had fish tacos. Everyone left happy. This is a strong recommend for a neighborhood restaurant that really delivers elevated Mexican.
The Habanero Grill isn't far from Opry Mills area of Nashville. It is a small establishment with a few parking spots at the store front and additional parking behind the building. It is listed as one of Nashville's essential dining places. After tasting the food, I certainly understand why. The place is not fancy, but food and service was fantastic.
The food is spicy and authentic at this amazing little hole-in-the-wall turned diamond. I can only assume the waiter was the owner. He was the only person I saw working in the packed restaurant, and he did a phenominal job! My son accidentally spilled his water after insisting on a lidless cup. He didn't skip a beat and remained cheerful the whole time, served amazing food, and smiled the whole time. I'd give them 10 stars if I could.
I came in from out of town on business and was so hungry due to my flight being delayed for four hours! Googled and found this hidden GEM!!! Food and Dessert was FAnTasTic! Waitress was so Refined:) and the Atmosphere gave off a Free-Spirited/Romantic Vibe😊!! The music was very Soothing and at a Perfected Volume👌🏻!! Love, LOVE this Place and HIGHLY RECOMMEND☝🏻 Definitely Coming Back to Habanero Grill!! Next time I am in Nashville❤️

We finally stopped in and had lunch with these gentlemen today. We were greeted immediately. The salsa is so dang good. It's got heat yall. The interior is very nice. Its modern, hip and masculine. Very very authentic atmosphere and handcrafted food. I got the steak tacos and man o man were they delicious. We most definitely will be back.
Awesome, Quaint little restaurant with a local vibe... server Blanca was super sweet and very friendly. Fast service with a smile. Started off with the chips salsa, and queso. Scott got the guacamole. All on point. Solid margaritas and Perrier with lime. So Scott decides to call an audible and kick things up with a little jalapeño action... nice call Scott. Went with the shrimp and steak from their specialty menu and it was so good.
Nice music played throughout the meal providing a Cool cantina vibe. Skirt steak cooked to perfection between cheese and pico it was just bursting with flavors. Fried ice cream for dessert... FANTASTIC!
Had lunch today at Habanero Grill while I was interviewing a potential new agent. The Tilapia tacos were excellent and my associated enjoyed fajitas. Yummy good food.
