Southern Engine Deli is fantastic! I was down at Marathon Village at KGV Studios, and they recommended grabbing a sandwich at Southern Engine. What a great recommendation! It is a cool menu with some creative options in addition to familiar standards. Their service and food is spot-on.

We stopped here on the Hop on- Hop off Trolley ride, had a bite to eat and drink. The Chinese chicken salad w/mandarin oranges...delish!! Turkey sandwich was also very good. Highly recommend. Also took lots of pictures of the auto motor museum, kool historic antiques.

We were traveling through Nashville and wanted to grab a quick sandwich. On our way into town. I started researching and saw the reviews for this place. I am so glad I did. The food was fantastic and people who worked there were so nice and its location inside the cool building with museum, distilleries and shops, was an unexpected bonus.

We stopped here for lunch as part of the hop on/hop off trolley tour. What a great decision! I had the BEST grilled cheese and tomato bisque. My family had the reuben, grilled cheese with bacon (!), and chicken salad on a croissant. Everyone loved their food. The young lady at the counter was so nice and helpful. Please try this place if visiting Marathon Motors.

This deli is a gem! The service was impeccable as the young lady in the front was extremely friendly and answered any questions that I had. I had the Rueben sandwich and my partner had the tuna salad sandwich. Both sandwiches were delicious and made with delicate care. I look forward to visiting this deli again the next time I’m in the city.

OMG what great sandwiches! That was a nice surprise that the menu actually reflected what I imagined the sandwiches should be! Delicious! Everyone was super friendly and lovely! Very clean, plenty of seating. Definitely on our favorite list! We really appreciated the experience! Thank you!

This was a wonderful surprise! We didn’t know where we were eating today before our bus tour, and this place did not disappoint. The food is made fresh to order. The salad you get with the combo was fresh and had a lot of veggies for a side salad. What a great atmosphere!
