A nice, spacious coffee shop. My wife and I visited on a Thursday morning looking for a place to grab some coffee, a light bite, and get some work done. The coffee was very good (apparently roasted right there on the spot because they were roasting in the room next door when we were there) -- $4.00 or so for a 12 oz. The food was fresh and tasty (wife got the egg and cheese on a biscuit for around $9.00 and I got the breakfast burrito (eggs, cheese, and chorizo) for $11.00). Only issue with food/service was poor communications regarding how we were to receive the food, because they asked us for a name, gave us our beverages, and we went and sat down and waited and waited. After 10 minutes, my wife went to ask about the food, and they asked if she had checked the food pickup table, about which no one had said anything.
I came here hearing so many good things about them. I was definitely not disappointed. Staff is very friendly and the space is open and spacious. Coffee is great!
One of the seasonal specials is Shoeless Joe, a cola + espresso with cherry syrup and lime. Perfect for this heat 🌞
This review is mainly for my takeout experience. I ordered from Uber Eat for pick up and everything was quick and easy to place the order online. I ordered the bourbon vanilla coffee, avocado 🥑 toast and egg & cheese biscuit. I would give the food 4-5 stars and 3 stars for my coffee. I would definitely come back for the biscuit as it’s flavorful and flaky good. I hope to give their coffee a 2nd chance since there were so many good reviews about it. Cool place to visit if you are a tourist like me and it’s located in the Gulch.
Amazing lattes!! I got the 8 oz. vanilla bourbon latte and it was super good!! The stag was cool and very friendly and the whole atmosphere was great. The perfect place to come chill and work on some things. Love it, definitely a spot to stop in while I’m Nashville.
Very excellent coffee, I was in Nashville for a few days and ended up coming here every day. Location was tucked away but not to hard to find. Interior design was very unique and it was an enjoyable place to sit and relax. Talented baristas that make sure to take time to make the coffee properly and with care. Everyone seems to enjoy what they do.
Coffee shops are pricy! We enjoyed our breakfast and drinks here. We laughed because they definitely take their sweet time making the drinks. We finished our food and like 3 cups of water before we got our drinks. Smooth and long process. The barista was vibing, so I wasn’t mad about it. Just long serve time. Overall, we enjoyed it. Pricy though.
We loved this place! I believe this used to be a fire station. We came here while taking a college tour in Nashville. I loved how open it was with long tables and enough seats. Love their interior decor! The baristas were professional and kind. We loved all our drinks. We always have a soft spot for specialty coffee places because our son works as a barista back home. If he ends up coming to Nashville, he would love to work here.
I had only heard how amazing this place was so I just had to check it out for myself. Well.. it was AMAZING! The cafe offers drinks, pastries, and a nice breakfast menu made fresh. Attached to the shop is the roastery where employees were roasting the coffee beans! The super friendly staff provided experience of good cafe and vibes! 10/10 would always and forever recommend.
Came to Nashville for a 3 day trip. Hotel was around the corner. We walked over based on reviews and where glad we did. Very trendy spot located in a small alley. Greeted with friendly smiles and an amazing Bourbon Vanilla iced latte that was FANTASTIC. I think we will be back again before the 3 days are up 👍
Stopped by for breakfast one day, & I'm so glad I did! I got a biscuit with peach jam & an iced bourbon vanilla coffee. Both exceeded my expectations & I'll definitely be coming back! I did have to wait a little longer for my coffee but the biscuit came out almost immediately. I came around 10:30 & expected it to be crowded but there was plenty of room to choose from. Background music was also great. There is a parking lot up the street where you can park free for the first hour, so I would suggest parking there if you need to, as their parking lot tends to be pretty full.
