I had the waffles with bacon and the presentation was very nice, service was timely and very professional. Food was okay breakfast fare but I ordered the chocolate shake and I would come back to have that (hey, I'm on vacation!). A large group next to us made conversation challenging but it would have been quiet enough with a normal crowd.
The presentation was nice and the Food was good. The milkshakes are big and tasty. I don't know if I would drive across town to visit, but it was all and all not a bad place. Especially if you are visiting the plantation.
Take your guests to Brunch and then a tour of the Belle Meade Plantation. Excellent brunch today at the Harding House at the Belle Meade Plantation. Service was friendly, top notch and patient. The restaurant is owned by the same group as Whitfields and Bria. You likely will see a familiar face if you've frequented those recently.
The food was delicious. Our group tried several of the breakfast/brunch items as well as some from the lunch menu. The Eggs Benedict, my favorite, was excellent with the egg cooked just right and served with scrumptuous potatoes. Also, the Turkey and Brie sandwich was very good and served with knockout sweet potato fries. My teenage daughter had the unique Chicken & Dumpling Soup which she really enjoyed. The kids menu had sweet French Toast and Chocolate Chip Pancakes and bacon which were so good the younger children cleaned their plates.
For dessert (clean plates all around), a Tall Chocolate Shake was in order and all 3 children, big and small, enjoyed the smooth ice cream with tons of whipped cream.
Mimosas ($3) were served in tall champage flutes.
We will go back again especially when we have out of town guests and want to add a little history to brunch.

Great service. No wait for Saturday brunch. Good menu selection.
Good tour, wine tasting was nice too. Had lunch in the restaurant - and it was an awesome surprise. If I lived here, would definitely come often. All food ordered by our group was outstanding!!!! Katerena was our server and did a great job as well. Try the chicken fingers :))
This is a must see. We took the house tour as well as the slave story tour. The passion the guides have for their work is contagious. The young woman that lead the slave tour was able to make us see things from a perspective and a level we had not experienced before. Well worth your time. And just like many others have said, the blackberry wine is great.
Had excellent service from Ally! I got the chicken salad on a croissant which was very tasty. I also got the Tomato Bisque and it was amazing. My girlfriend also got the southern Benedict which was fantastic! Very different and worth the try. Had to wait 15 minutes but received a text when ready. ( after our mansion tour the influx on people from our tour went to eat ). Very affordable as well!
We enjoyed walking along the pathways on a self-guided tour. We enjoyed the wine tasting it was very informative. We also stopped by for a little ice cream and fudge. This trip was very enjoyable.
What a great experience! The house tour, the treasure chest hunt for the little guys, Wine tasting for us adults, the ice cream parlor! What a great way to spend an afternoon!
Thankfully this hotel was recommended by a friend! It is a quaint boutique hotel with a fun firehouse themed decor. The staff were friendly and courteous. The rooms were comfortable and clean. We stayed in a one bedroom suite with a kitchenette and were very comfortable.
