Great spot, inside seating includes a small bar area and several side rooms. Outside seating includes around the deck and patio with umbrellas and heaters when needed. Real good beverage menu includes plenty of crafts. Solid food menu, pretzel sticks and buns lead the way. All well prepared. Service very friendly. Area can be busy, good parking around pub.
Super great food!! Service was slow and the enviornment was loud and smoky, so keep that in mind if you want to eat outside. Def recommend the pretzels!!
If Frank isn’t your bartender, did you even visit Village Pub? I mean, you prob did, but Frank makes the experience even better. Haha! Thanks for being legit, Frank!
Great beer selection, tasty drinks (Frank makes a mean spicy mezcal margarita), and the pretzels are awesome too!
My favorite pub in East Nashville. The pretzels here are incredible -- served piping hot, they are soft, fluffy, and yeasty. Both the potato salad and potato chips are very good -- I have trouble choosing between the sides every time. They have a $7 mule menu and different drink specials every day of the week. They are also super dog friendly -- the patios are heated and there are water bowls with a pitcher to fill it for dogs. They even have dog treats and rawhide bones to purchase!
Yay! I loved this little spot! They have great patio seating and a wonderful variety of drinks including tasty cocktails. Our server was awesome! We tried a bean burger and it was really good. We especially liked the pretzel bun. We will be back for a post work hang, lunch or a quick dinner.
Food is surprisingly good. The vibes are what keeps me coming back. Fun place to hang with friends with ample seating.
Such a cool atmosphere, food is always delicious and a great beer selection. Blackened chicken sandwich is delicious. What more could you want from a restaurant?!
Cozy brewpub in East Nashville. Service was friendly but not overly-eager (checking in every 2 minutes). Felt like a little known local secret. Use of space , atmosphere, food, and drinks were all bangin' and well priced.
What can I say… I love the Pub. A staple of East Nashville, the Village Pub has barely changed over the years, and that’s a very good thing. Rarely am I able to say that every salad on a menu is better than the rest of the food.
Now, that doesn’t mean the rest of the food is bad, because it’s all very, very good.
They have Guinness on draft, a range of beer selections, Monday Mules, and a killer happy hour.
Some of my favorite times at this place are when the entire city is shut down due to snow, but people trod through the weather and hunker down in this wonderful spot.
Recently, I spy the occasional tourist or bachelorette party. This isn’t the sort of place they are looking for in Nashville, and for selfish reasons, hope they are as unhappy with the place as the locals are with them permeating our beloved city.
The Village Pub; your perfect local hangout.
Great spot to sit with your dogs. There is a ton of outdoor seating. Only been once, but the servers were friendly and quite a few of the patrons were friendly and our dogs all met. The prices are fantastic and the drinks are great. Even when they are busy and packed they are pretty quick. They know what they are doing. Food seems to be slightly German or Bavarian leaning. Bratwurst was delicious.
