Our waitress Ashley was amazing and attentive! She made the right recommendations and we were very pleased with our meal!! Definitely a great place to take your family or if you want to go solo. The staff will take good care of you with their southern hospitality and comfort food.
Deanna is our server and she’s pretty good. I had the 4 piece catfish dinner.
We got the beans, turnip greens, corn bread and all the fixings!
The inside and outside are rather interesting. The fish batter is light and flavored. Everything is hot and fresh.
I would highly recommend a visit here.

I haven't been here for a while, but any time I want good chicken tenders and catfish, this is the place for me. The greens and cornbread remind me of how grandma used to make it....so good.
I went a couple of months ago and I meant to post this but I forgot. Honestly it's really good but in my opinion it's not exactly like it used to be. Due to short staff, it changed in an unfortunate way. On the positive side our waitress did a good job. Bless her heart she was walking back and forth to help with other tables. The only small problem I had was the service was a bit slow and my cornbread was kind of cold. But everything turned out good. I'll be back next I come to Nashville again.
While the prices are definitely tourist-level. The portion sizes are good and the catfish and chicken is very good. The atmosphere is a tad jarring but not in a bad way. Service is usually well above average and I have never had a wait the over dozen times I have been here. The catfish is the best in nashville.
Hands down the best chicken strips I have ever had. You might think, how good can a chicken strip be? Well, freaking awesome here!! The atmosphere is rustic and country. The service is tentative and engaging. It is a must have location on your time in the Nashville area.

Our waitress was sweet. Suggested how to save money on a fish & chicken combo platter. Shes getting better at flipping the cornbread. Lol! This place was PACKED! AND FOR GOOD REASON! Delicious Cole slaw and sweet pickled onionsbon the side. Yum!
I'm not gonna lie, it looked kinda sketch going in. The menu is what the menu is. That said, the catfish, chicken tenders, cole slaw, and pickled onions were all really good. The family style sides are plus for groups. Wasn't bad at all, but the next trip will have other food adventures. Service was pretty good, and the server was attentive.
Cute restaurant, plus you get a bit of a show when they serve the table cornbread. For the table we had several things that came with the meal, skillet cornbread, coleslaw & pickled onions. We all ordered a combination of items including fried shrimp, fried catfish, & fried chicken tenders, plus we ordered pots of greens & beans for the table. It was all pretty good. The only disappointment was the French fries. Most places that focus on fried proteins usually don't have the best fries. They weren't bad, just not great.
