hot dogs from all states and all kinds they even have a eat your way across the states hot dog wall of fame.. the hot dogs are juicy and plump and come with any fixin you want... they have fried Twinkies, fried cinnamon rolls even mac and cheese on the hot dog great buns that stand up to the toppings. and the ultimate surprise Hawaiian punch and country time on the soda fountain, tvs to watch sports all around and its a pokemon go stop with one behind it also..
This was a great place for a quick lunch. Great food and nice price. If we are back through it's a must stop.
First off, the service was absolutely fantastic! No problems there. The food is good, and the prices are very reasonable.
We got a lot of food for the price we paid! The dogs are pretty huge and served on Texas toast style roll instead of a traditional bun. All the loaded dogs have a ton of toppings. The mac-n-cheese dog is a special they’re running, and it’s really good! The Chicago dog was good as was the corn dog, which is huge.
As for sides, the fries were kinda sad. Wouldn’t get those again. But the onion rings were really good, as was their special dipping sauce for them!!
We travel all over the U.S and try every hotdog restaurant we come across, this has been the top of our list! The were over 40 variety of hot dogs and they even had lots of VEGAN dogs and sausage options! The buns, dogs and toppings were far better than I had expected and the customer service was just as good!
We were looking for a casual and inexpensive place to grab dinner after seeing the paratheon. It was within walking distance so it was perfect. We were surprised by how good all our sandwiches and hot dogs were. The bread they were on was fresh and delicious. For 3 adults and 1 kids meal we paid $35. When you go you have to try to the deep fried twinkie; it was crazy good. The employees were kind and polite. Our food came very quickly. They were very generous to our 2 year old and gave him a Christmas candy cane. I recommend for a quick bite and for a very inexpensive dinner.
Great dogs, surprisingly good prices. They have tons of options, including various types of dogs/sausages, including multiple vegetarian options. The buns were amazing, and this was my first experience with this style. The bread alone (nothing on it) is worth a trip all on its own. The total number of state menu options is a little daunting, and many of them vary only slightly. I might prefer just a list of add on options instead, but this works. Best of all, there was a ton of food! Our family of four ate beyond full and had food to save for later, and we spent less than $40. There are some fast food places where that's a challenge!
The staff was quick and helpful, though the shop was nearly empty when we stopped by, so not sure how well they keep up when they're busy.
Right when you walk in there is a great big menu on the wall broken down into regional dogs. They are actually pretty accurate too. I skipped it and asked the man at the counter his recommendation with the exclusion of a dog with chili.
He said that those were his favorite, but there were still a lot of other really good options. I told him pick a winner.
While the kids and I waited we fixed our drinks...and lo and behold they had RC...the drink beloved by all true Southerners. Major bonus.
After we fixed our drinks we were entertained by the huge board of folks that had “travelled across the country” meaning they had eaten all the selections on the menu. Too cool.
Of course the dogs were good. They ended up making me a breakfast dog with egg and cheese. One of the kids just got a regular hot dog and the other a corndog. Nearly everything got eaten and the kids are infamous for taking one bite and then being full. These weren’t little dogs either.
Definitely stop by and try this place. I am going back. I might even start traveling the country.
Some of the best dogs I've had in the South! The buns are super unique and delicious. Try the Memphis or Carolina with hand cut fries. One dog can easily be shared with another person!
We went yesterday, and really enjoyed the food. Food is make when you order, so is fresh! 🌭🌭
The #1 New York style hot dog had me saying " Hot Dawg, that's tasty"! A signatures grilled bun, filled with a juicy hot dog, mustard and sauerkraut.
A delicious Corned Beef Sandwich accompanied by some over fried onion rings is what I had. I can't can't complain too much about the onion rings they are easy to over cook.
However the corned beef sandwich was very tasty.
Not busy at all maybe because of the weather but the restaurant is very clean. Sort of a garage hangout look inside.
I'm not a huge hot dog fan, and it's probably been years since I've had one until I came here. There is a massive variety of hot dogs inspired by various locations across the US. I had the Michigan (mushrooms and swiss) with a polish sausage and fries. It was extremely rich and flavorful, and some of the best fries I've ever had. They also have RC which is rather unusual, and a discount for Vanderbilt students.
