We had dinner for the first time at Oak last night with friends and it was fabulous. The cocktail list included perfected classics such as the Oak Manhattan and Negroni, “creative cocktails” such as the Roy McCavoy and Jungle Bird, and an excellent list of beers and drafts. The wine list was discussed with the sommelier who gave us excellent recommendations. Raw Bar selections were varied and extremely fresh. We ordered a variety of west and east coast oysters. Small plate selections were just as fabulous and included selections like Giffords Bacon and Seared Sea Scallops. Our main dishes, which included off the menu selections were absolute top quality and cooked to perfection. We split the 40 oz Tomahawk which included sides and sauces and ordered the fish selection of the night. The ambiance and the quality of service was top of the line. Menu pricing was equal to the quality of the food. This will likely become our go-to place when we come downtown.
Enjoyed our last girl's night at Oak Steakhouse and it didn't disappoint. Our server Matthew was excellent and sweet as pie and the food was excellent! Three of the girls split the 48 oz. tomohawk steak that was more like 54 ounces and the mashed potatoes, Brussels sprouts and mushroom sides were excellent! The shrimp cocktail and cheese plate were the perfect start and the wine was flowing. The kitchen even sent us some short rib ravioli to try. It was a wonderful, high class dining experience with the most comfortable seats! Thank you staff!

I do not write this review lightly. I can honestly say that this was the single best dining experience of my life! I made the reservation a month ago and included a note about this special occasion and the entire staff went above and beyond my wildest imaginations to make the evening one my wife and I will never forget. From the moment we walked through the front door we were greeted with nothing less than excitement and hospitality. We arrived right at our reservation time and our table was waiting for us. We were escorted to our booth and introduced to our server, Andy, who made it his personal mission to ensure we had the most amazing evening. Andy’s knowledge of the menu, specials, drinks, and wine pairings was 5-star. His attitude and personality were absolutely world class. He checked on us numerous times throughout the multiple courses of our meal and made recommendations based on conversation with us, but he also somehow gave us privacy and space so that we never felt bothered or obligated during our special evening. The manager, Zach, came by towards the end of our meal to check on us and ask about our experience and we were more than happy to convey just how special and perfect the evening had been. The Oak Steakhouse has a special place in our hearts because we shared our wedding meal there back in 2017 and we have had the opportunity to eat there one other time to celebrate our birthdays, but this meal was to celebrate our six year wedding anniversary and it was so special being able to do so at the same restaurant we started at six years ago. Andy, if you ever get the chance to read this, thank you so much for a perfect night. For those of you considering Oak Steakhouse, make the reservation now. It is worth much more than you know to enjoy an evening here. We will absolutely be back again. This restaurant is the only restaurant I would ever consider to celebrate a special occasion at. You won’t regret the choice. A perfect 10/10

My husband and I were celebrating our 3 year Wedding Anniversary. It was our first time dining here and we were not disappointed. Our serve Robert was wonderful. The Steak & Cocktails were amazing. They even sent us complimentary Dessert & Champagne.

Service was excellent, our waiter Chris was attentive and thoroughly explained the menu and how the restaurant worked. Our friend who could not attend also called in early to have drinks served for us which they served and let us know he had paid ahead for a round.
The Caesar salad was great, bacon appetizer was excellent. I had the 16 oz. ribeye. Medium rare / rare plus. Seasoned right, not overly salted. Bernaise was an excellent pairing as well. Sides were the whipped potatoes, mushrooms, and the Brussels sprouts.
Old fashioned drink as well. Would recommend.
The steak was memorable, and Chris recommended an after dinner experiences that we tried and was well worth it.

We met our host Josh he was very polite and very informative about all the dishes helped us pick our dishes and what we would like man his recommendations were on point he was a great host def needs a raise or promotion

The location is perfect next to the convention center. Nice part of town. The atmosphere is really cool almost like your at someone else’s home. Beautiful woodworking and lighting. The service was very good and the wait is short even for a Fri night. The waiter was polite and friendly very polished delivery. The appetizer was a chcutery board and an old fashioned. The wine was red and delicious. Salads are deep in flavor and crispy. The main attraction was a 8 oz medium rare filet that was seasoned and aged perfectly. You can use a butter knife to slice it. Not sure what the green sauce was so you can skip it. Lol. The crème brûlée was on point. Enjoy
By far the best meal I had in Nashville. Great location and service. They have a good selection of seafood and steaks. Steak was perfectly cooked. Sides are excellent as well, recommend their macaroni and cheese as well as the brusel sprouts. Great staff, good wine menu as well. Would visit again.
This is by far the best restaurant I have ever been to. The ambiance of the restaurant the quietness of the interior the Precision put into the food and the drinks were all top tier. We wholeheartedly enjoyed our experience ,our food, the dessert even the bathrooms were very clean.

Steaks are cooked perfectly to your liking. The asparagus were huge and absolutely perfect. Fire grilled , seasoned and beautiful texture. My friend had the oysters and lobster tail and mentioned it was far better than the ones we had in Florida a few weeks earlier . Highly recommend. I think we had Claire.. as our main waitress . Absolutely wonderful. 10/10 would recommend. Apps, sides, main and dessert everything was a win win.
I was in Nashville for a work conference. I made a reservation here for a business dinner. The food was phenomenal!! By far my best meal in Nashville. Ironically, I don’t eat red meat, so I ordered the Double Cut Porkchop. We ordered a bunch of the side dishes for the table and we all shared them. Absolutely amazing! They also had my favorite drink (Sugar-free Red Bull and Tito’s) which I noticed a lot of the other restaurants didn’t carry. Our server Andy was amazing as well! This was a short walk from our hotel (JW Marriot). This is a must-visit restaurant if you are in the area! Hats off to the amazing chef and quality service!
What a phenomenal experience at Oak Steakhouse Nashville. We were greeted at the door in a timely manner with a beautiful smiling face. Once to our table, Dominick introduced himself as our server. What a delightful human. He provided the features and his suggestions. All courses were delivered in a prompt manner and cooked to perfection. There is not one negative thing I can say about Oak Steakhouse Nashville. Absolutely Great Job!!!!
